Chapter 18 New Beginning

"Five Years Later"

Papa Smurf (Voice): five years have passed since peace has been restored and no evil has ever come to our village.

Everyone in the village is rebuilding everything that's been destroyed. Handy, Inventor, Hunter, and Hope are pulling the wood in place to rebuild the village.

Handy: All right, that should do it.

Inventor: Go ahead, Hope.

Hope took a breath, raised her hand, and her magic made something better and started spreading all over the village.

Papa Smurf (Voice): The village was restored again, and Hope's magic was restored, making a difference in the world.

Everyone in the village was amazed by Hope's magic to make their home with so much change going on. Then Hope decided to go find Glammy.

Hope: See you guys later.

Handy: See you later, Hope. Oh, don't forget.

Hope: Don't worry, I didn't forget.

Hope went to look for Glammy, and knowing him, he was somewhere around the village. Then Hope knows he was. She went over to the river and saw Glammy there.

Hope: I guess I know where to find you.

Glammy turns around and sees Hope next to him.

Glammy: I knew you might find me here.

Hope: Glammy, you were about to tell me something from five years ago, right?

Glammy looks at Hope and then blushes, and he is about to tell her how he feels about her.

Glammy: Well, I was about to tell you how much I feel about you. Every time I see you I see so much that makes you the smurf you are now. That's why I wanted to tell you I... I like you.

Hope: You like me?

Glammy holds Hope's hand and smiles at her, and she smiles back.

Glammy: Yeah, I like you. Every time I see the smurf in you, I always know that you are so special to me.

Hope then hugged Glammy tight and was happy that Glammy told her how he felt about her.

Hope: Wow, Glam, I'm glad you told me.

Glammy: So, should we get back to the village?

Hope: Yeah, we should go back. But one more thing.

Glammy: And what's that?

Hope then kissed Glammy on the cheek, and Glammy felt butterflies in his stomach.

Glammy: Wow.

Hope: Haha, hmmm, come on, let's head back. We have to get ready.

Glammy: Oh, right, I almost forgot about it.

They returned to the village to prepare for a very special day. When they got home, Hope was at Tailor's house. Vanity and Tailor were trying to prepare Hope for a very special.

Hope: Oh, Uncle Tailor, doesn't it look too much to you for this day?

Tailor: Well, now this is your special day, after all.

Vanity: And we must make it so special for you.

Hope: Huh... well, if you say so.

Tailor: Well, what do you think now, Vanity, does she look smurfy?

Vanity: She does. beautiful work, Tailor.

Hope turned around and looked at herself in the mirror and was so amazed to see that she was wearing a white dress with a red top and her hair was braided in the back.

Vanity: See, I knew you would love it. Well, now time for your big day.

Hope was ready for a big day and was ready for it.

Papa Smurf (voice): The day has finally come for Hope to become the new leader.

Hope was standing with Papa Smurf and Willow. All the smurf gather to see Hope become the new leader. Papa Smurf and Willow smile at Hope, knowing how proud they are, and give her the red hat.

Papa Smurf: My Smurfs, I give you Hope, the new leader of the village.

All Smurfs cheered for Hope, and Smurfette and Hefty smiled at their daughter, knowing how proud they were.

Papa Smurf (voice): It is not the end of Hope's journey. But a new beginning.
