Smurfs The Prophecy of Hope

Chapter 3 Plan/Capture

Somewhere far away was a boy named Scruple taking over the hovel that used to belong to Gargamal, and he took over his lair doing many evil things with Gargamal's cat Azrael and Vulture Monty.

Scruple: Well, things are looking up for me, don't you think, you two?

Both Azrael and Monty agree with him.

Scruple: Since Garge didn't get to see what I had done with the place and already all grown up, I got what I wanted.

Until he heard a familiar voice, trying to know who it was.

???: Scruple my formal apprentice.

Scruple: Huh? Garge, is that you?

Gargamel: Yes! It's me. You useless idiot.

Scruple can hear Gargamel but doesn't know where it's coming from until he finds him in his cauldron.

Scruple: Wow, Garge, it's been years, and it looked like you found your way back to your lair.

Gargamel: Yes. For far too long, that spell banished me when I tried to destroy the Smurfs, but everything changed when Smurfette married that Hefty Smurf.

Scruple: Sounds familiar. You haven't changed a bit.

Gargamel: But you didn't know that I discovered there was a prophecy about me and that I was going to be defeated by someone with stronger magic than me. Until I discovered who it was, I tried to prevent it from happening.

Scruple: But who was it? And where?

Gargamel: Well, it's someone, but young and lives in the Smurf village and found out it was a young child of Smurfette's. I found a way to go into their village, and I got the child, but they stopped me before I had a chance to destroy that child. And banished me here.

Then Azrael meow to Scruple to look at the telescope and spotted four smurfs in the area going smurfboarding.

Scruple: Well, well, well, I see four young Smurfs in the forest.

Gargamel: Is one of them a girl?

Scruple: Why yes.

Gargamel: Good, Monty!!!!!

Monty heard Gargamal from the cauldron, ready for order from his formal master.

Gargamel: I want you to get me that Smurf girl.

Then Monty flies out with a sack, ready to capture Hope.

Elsewhere in the forest, the four Smurfs are making many cool moves on their Smurfboards.

Glammy:  All right, now that's what I'm talking about.

Inventor: Yeah... nice move, but not as cool as this.

Hunter: Oh Yeah, beat this. Ha, no one can beat this.

All: Come on. Hope it's your turn.

Hope took a breath and was ready to go down.

Hope: Be right down.

But then Hope heard the same voice again, telling her to follow.

???: You must go there. Your destiny has come.

Hope: Huh, what? Who are you?

Without getting an answer, Hope followed it, and her friends noticed that she didn't go down on her Smurfboard. And then found her almost heading to the forbidden forest.

Inventor: Where's Hope?

Hunter: I don't know, but I know where she is heading.

Glammy: Oh no, she is heading to the forbidden forest. We got to get her.

Hope kept going until she stopped and saw that she was near the forbidden forest.

Hope: What? The forbidden forest?

Hope felt confused about what was happening, and then she heard her friends calling to her.

Hunter: Hope!

Inventor: Hope!

Glammy: Hope. are you OK?

Hope: I'm fine.

Inventor: What happened?

Hope: I heard a voice.

Hunter: Who was it?

Hope: I don't know, but it told me to go this way.

Just then, Monty grabbed Hope, taking her to the hovel.

Glammy: Hope!!

Hunter: what was that?

Inventor: I don't know, but that bird is taking her to that old hovel.

Hunter: What are we going to do?

Without trying, they went to the village to tell Papa Smurf everything. When they got to the village, they saw Hefty and Handy talking with Papa Smurf. Inventor and Hunter want to talk to their father Handy.

Both: Dad.

Handy: Boys, what happened? Are you OK?

Inventor: we're fine.

Hunter: Yeah.

Then Hefty noticed his daughter was not with them when they left for smurfboarding.

Hefty: Where's Hope?

Hefty asks them a question to know where his daughter is, but both the boys are scared and in deep trouble, and Handy knows they need to speak up.

Hefty: Where is my daughter?

Both Inventor and Hunter know they need to tell them what happened.

Inventor: Hope was captured.

Hefty: What?

Hunter: She was captured by a.....

Hunter was trying to speak up but didn't know what he would say, but Handy and Papa Smurf comforted him until he was ready to speak to Hefty.

Handy: It's all right, Hunter.

Papa Smurf: Take your time when you are ready.

Hunter: Hope was captured by a vulture, and he was taking her to the old hovel.

Hefty, Handy, and Papa Smurf are shocked when they mention the old hovel and know who they are talking about.

Hefty: Monty, of course.

Handy: That explains everything.

Inventor: Dad? You know that vulture?

Hunter: How?

Handy: You boys were too young to remember, but no time. We have to get Hope back first.

Hefty: There is no telling what is going to happen next.

They are about to leave to get Hope back, but Papa Smurf stops them before heading off. He looks at Hunter, Inventor, and Glammy.

Papa Smurf: when you three return, you have much explaining to do.

The three boys looked at each other and knew they were in a lot of trouble when they get back.
