Chapter 13 Feeling Connected

After Hope learned about the origins of the smurfs from a very long time ago, she understood that it has something to do with her and everything that part of her was connected to her magic.

Hope: I couldn't believe it.

SmurfSpirit: It's part of you, everything that makes you who you are.

Hope understands everything and that it's part of her, and then SmurfSpirit knows she's connected and guided her here.

SmurfSpirit: Come with me. I wanted to show you something.

SmurfSpirit was taking Hope to a secret cave from the village, and Glammy followed them. Hope couldn't believe her eyes what SmurfSpirit was showing her.

Hope: What is this place?

SmurfSpirit: This here. Hope is where it all happened.

Hope: Wow, this place. I feel connected to it somehow.

SmurfSpirit: Hmm... It looks like your magic is strong, and you feel that everything around this place connects to you.

Hope felt her magic getting stronger as she guided herself through all around her to embrace what was part of her.

SmurfSpirit: Everything around you guides you to be who you are.

Hope: I feel it.

SmurfSpirit: Good, now tell me, do you know what makes you a true smurf?

Hope: I don't.

Hope feels questions about it and doesn't know what makes her a true Smurf, which makes her who she is.

SmurfSpirit: In time, you will know.

Hope was learning so much with SmurfSpirit. She started to learn how to use her magic and took a breath as she felt herself getting to embrace more. Glammy was watching her, ensuring nothing bad would happen to her.

Glammy: Hmm... she is so amazing. Maybe I could have done more.

Glammy then felt a lot of guilt and blamed himself for believing Gargamel's little game he was pulled into. Then he went back to see Inventor and Hunter in the Hidden Village. Glammy sees Inventor recovering and Hunter by his side as Misty puts a special herd to help Inventor's arm heal faster.

Misty: Your arm should be fine by now. This herd helps it heal faster.

Inventor carefully moved his arm and felt it all as good as new, and Hunter felt so glad his brother would be okay.

Inventor: Wow, my arm is as good as new.

Hunter: amazing, that herd is something.

Misty: yes, I know that it would work.

Glammy: Hey guys.

Inventor and Hunter looked up and saw Glammy there in front of them. They looked at each other as being in the same place together to feel a lot of guilt coming on them.

Glammy: Look what I did back there. I should have listened to you guys. And....

Hunter: And what?

Glammy: I wanted to apologize to you guys. And you guys are right. It's my fault. I shouldn't known Gargamel would trick me.

Inventor: Well... I'm sorry, too. I let my anger get the best of me and took it out on you. It was wrong of me to do that.

Hunter: Me too. We would have done the same thing.

The three of them hugged and decided to see Hope. Glammy shows Inventor and Hunter where Hope is, and they are amazed to see her magic creating something amazing as they watch and see all the flowers bloom around her as she dances to feel the connection of her magic crossing through her.

Inventor: wow I never see anything like this before.

Hunter: No way.

Glammy: I believe she has what it takes to be who she was meant to be.

Hope was full of so many things that connected her, and that purpose was more she could see in herself in how capable she was. Just then, Hope closed her eyes and felt a lot of pain and heard a baby crying. Gargamel laughing. She also hears Papa Smurf's voice.

Papa Smurf (voice): No!!! Don't Gargamel! Let her go.

Gargamel (voice): Why not? This child will be gone for good.

Papa Smurf (voice): I will make sure you won't succeed.

Gargamel (voice): Noooo. I will be back and get her one day, and no one will stop me. Ha Ha Ha.

Then Hope opened her eyes, took a breath, stopped what she was doing, and felt her magic draining her. She noticed her hand was turning gray and was about to faint.

Glammy: Hope.

Inventor and Hunter: Hope.

Glammy caught her just in time as she fainted. The three were worried something was happening to her and took her back to the Hidden Village. Hope woke up, and Glammy was by her side and helped her get up.

Glammy: Hope?

Hope: Glammy, what happened?

Glammy: You fainted back there. SmurfSpirit just healed your hand.

Hope looked at her hand, and it was blue again.

Hope: I say my hand turned gray. What's going on?

SpiritSmurf: It seems the magic inside you is draining your life force.

Hope and Glammy felt shocked by what SmurfSpirit told them.

Glammy: Is there a way to save her?

SpiritSmurf: No, none of the herds or magic could help her.

Glammy hugged Hope tight, feeling he had to do something for Hope's sake. SmurfSpirit knows a lot but has a lot of faith in Hope and finds a way to show how strong she is.

SmurfSpirit: Listen. Hope I know a lot of things, but you are more capable than you think in what's part of making you who you are meant to be.

Hope: You think so.

SmurfSpirit: I believe there is still hope left in you. And I think you and your friends should return home from all this.

Hope: Everything I know about the tribe and this village made me think about how much I miss my village.

SmurfSpirit agrees with Hope and that in the morning, Hope and her friends will return home.
