Chapter 2 Unknown Magic

Hope was wandering around the forest to know what to do and if it was the choice that Papa and Willow gave the leadership to her. But she has a lot on her mind that she doesn't want to take it or if she becomes a leader.

Hope: hmm, maybe or maybe not. Oh, this is something that is going to change forever.

Hope has a lot to deal with, and before she goes back to the village, she decides to go to the field where Farmer grows his crops. When Hope came to the area noticed something was wrong. She saw  Farmer tending to his crops, but they were not increasing as much.

Farmer: Oh boy, these veggies aren't growing as much. Oh, maybe another month or two, so they start growing.

Looking at the crops not growing as much, Hope feels that she wants to help Farmer out, but she decides to sit next to the tree.

Hope: Hmmmm.

Then she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and touched the dirt. Then something is happening and all the plants are starting to grow flowers blooming all over the forest, and Farmer's crops are also growing. When Hope opened her eyes, she saw everything that had fully grown and noticed that Farmer was surprised that his crops were ready to be harvested. She wanted to tell Farmer how much his crop had grown and was ready to return to the village.

Hope: Hey, Uncle Farmer, your crop is ready for harvest.

Farmer: Yeah...huh.

Farmer feels really confused that something strange is happening to his crops. How is it possible one moment, it wasn't ready for harvest? Now they look completely ready for the picking thinking if Papa Smurf used a magic potion or Willow used her magic spell to help his crop grow.

Farmer: Hmmm......

Then Hope went to the village, seeing everyone enjoying themselves.

Hope: Wow, everyone here seems to enjoy themselves.

She bumps into her friends Glammy, Inventor, and Hunter.

Hope: Oh, hey, guys.

Glammy: Hey, you.

Inventor: We were about to go look for you.

Hunter: And wanted to invite you to go smurfboarding with us are you in.

After much thought, Hope does need to get her mind off of things.

Hope: Yeah, sounds like fun.

Glammy: Yeah, it will be great you me..... uhhhh.

Glammy paused and started to blush around Hope and forget what to say next.

Inventor: Us. Don't forget me and my brother.

Hunter: Yeah, don't forget about us. Plus, our parents know what we are up to.

Hope: I guess this is OK.

All: All right.

About to leave to go smurfboarding, Hope heard a voice calling to her.

???: Your time is coming. He is coming for you.

Hope: huh? What?

???: You are the one.

Hope: Hmm.

Hope heard something or someone was calling to her and wanted to leave the village but stopped when her friends called her.

Glammy: Come on, Hope.

Hope: Huh, oh, right. Sorry, Glammy, I thought I heard something.

Inventor: Yeah, but it seem like your mind was elsewhere. Well, come on, we'll get going.

Hope signed took a deep breath, and was ready to go.

Hope: All right. I guess we can go now.

Hunter: Yeah, we are.

Glammy: Come on, let's grab our smurfboards. I know a great spot to go smurfboarding.

Hope: OK, sounds fun. I will go get my board.

The four smurfs went to go smurfboarding, though Hope felt that something was going on when she heard the word he but didn't know who it was or why he was after her. Why can she hear it? And who was that voice? Given what was going on, Hope decided to keep her mind off things and have some fun with her friends.

Hope: Hmmm, maybe they are right. It's just in my head. Alright, I got my smurfboard ready to go.

And off they went to a perfect spot to go smurfboarding.
