Chapter 7 Into the Forbidden Forest

It was morning, and Hope was getting ready to go. She packed everything she needed to go to the Forbidden Forest. Before she leaves the village, Papa Smurf, Willow, and her parents come to see her go.

Hope: Do I have to go? Papa.

Willow: You must.

Papa Smurf: This is your purpose.

Hefty: You'll be back before you know it, baby girl.

Smurfette: Besides, you will not do it alone for this.

Hope: What do you mean, Mom?

Then Smurfette whistled to call someone or something. That will take Hope through the forbidden forest much faster. Then, a glowing bunny came to the village, happy to see Smurfette.

Smurfette: Hope. This is Bucky.

Hope: Wow. A glowing bunny.

Smurfette: Yes. Bucky will take you where you need to go.

Hope: mom... dad.

Hope hugged them, hopped onto Bucky, and was ready to head to the forest to look for answers.

Hope: I'll miss you guys.

Hefty holds Smurfette's hand and smiles at his daughter.

Hefty: We'll miss you too.

Then Hope and Bucky went off to the forbidden forest. But before they went in, Hope heard a twig snap.

Hope: Huh? Who there?

Without a doubt, the three Smurfs came out of the bushes.

Glammy: Hey Hope.

Inventor: Hi?

Hunter: what's up?

Hope was shocked and disappointed that they didn't tell her they were going but knew this meant trouble.

Hope: what are you guys doing here?

Glammy: I thought we could go with you.

Hope: I can't risk you guys going with me, and I almost got you guys in serious trouble because of me.

Inventor: We care about you. Hope, so we're coming with you.

Hope initially felt hesitant but realized they couldn't take no for an answer.

Hope: well? Ok.

Hunter: Great. Guess who is going with you.

The three Smurfs hop on to Bucky and head into the forbidden forest.

Hope: this place is beautiful. My parents told me many stories about all the things about this place.

Glammy: really?

Hope: yeah, but some dangerous things can happen here.

Hunter: What sort of danger are we talking about exactly?

Hope: The danger we are going through is a different type of normal.

Riding on Bucky through the forest, Hope felt something was wrong. And feel something moving.

Hope: Bucky, you feel that?

Bucky nodded his head.  And he was stopped to look for anything coming toward them.

Glammy: What was that?

Hunter: I don't know, but it's getting close.

Then they saw that it was an unknown that was moving towards them. A dark shadow emerged from the forbidden forest, and heard a familiar laugh. It was Gargamel as a dark-figured shadow.

Gargamel: Well, well, you thought you could hide from me. No matter! I will not let you get away from me.

Hope: That's not going to happen.

Glammy: Yeah, we know everything about you. There is no way you will get Hope.

Gargamel: So be it.

Hope: You ask for it, Gargamel.

Hope suddenly awakened a DragonFlies swarm that heard her voice and attacked Gargamel shadow figure, giving the Smurfs and Bucky a chance to escape from him.

Hope: Go Bucky! Here's our chance.

Gargamel: No!!!

Gargamel started to get away from the Dragonflies as he tried not to get any chances to get to Hope. And He found a way out.

Gargamel: HA. You thought those dragonflies could protect you from me.

Gargamel started to move through the shadows and kept going. And as the Smurfs and Bucky keep moving before they get the chance to be captured by Gargamel. Suddenly, they were trapped and had no way out.

Hunter: We're trapped.

Inventor: What are we going to do?

Then Hope noticed a hole that was somewhere they could get a chance to escape.

Hope: Guys, look, there's a way.

Hunter: There is?

Inventor: Hey, she right there is a hole.

Hope: Bucky, go!

Bucky jumped into the hole as they were about to go where they could get away from Gargamel, and as he got closer to them, they were nowhere to be found.

Gargamel: Noooooooo!

The Smurfs got away from the shadow form of Gargamel and knew he would find ways to get Hope. Then, Gargamel's shadow faded and returned to his hovel.

Scruple: well? How did it go?

Gargamel: She escaped from me before I could capture her.

Scruple: well, I don't know what to say, but I think I have a plan for you to capture the Smurf girl if you'll let me.

Gargamel: Fine. I don't think I will like it.

Scruple was doing what he could to get Gargamel what he wanted and though he was his former mentor, but knowing him for years was so much hate and rage of obsession with Smurfs has made him stronger than ever.

Gargamel: Hopefully, you have a good idea to capture the girl.

Scruple: Ohh. You'll see this is going to be a good one.

Gargamel: Yes. It will be if your plan is successful. No one will get a chance to stop me when I become the most powerful evil wizard from all the power I will gain.
