But, he wanted to say something more, but the ring of his phone stopped him. He quickly apologised. The call was from Virat. He picked up immediately.

"Shub tu kaha hai? 11 pm ho gya hai, ab bhi wapis nhi aaya hai." Akanksha got up and took Chitra inside to give Shubman some privacy. Although he didn't need it, he appreciated the thought. He held her back using her hand he held earlier. He wanted to hold onto it a bit longer.

"Bhai mai Akanksha k sath hu." He replied honestly. Akanksha tuned in as she heard her name.

"Toh matlab woh tujhse firse baat kar rhi hai?" He could hear the joy in Virat's voice. He grinned before saying, "Haan bhai."

"Matlab are you guys dating now?" Shubman looked back at Akanksha, who could somewhat hear the question and she nodded.

"Haan bhai." Akanksha pointed towards Chitra, trying to tell him how she needed to make sure she was okay. He understood and let go. She rushed forward, holding Chitra into her arms. She patted her in a steady beat, trying her best to lull Chitra to sleep.

"Abhi hotel wapis aa rha hai ya nhi?" Shubman would love to stay with her for longer...but he didn't want to be a bother.

"Haan bhai. Abhi nikalta hu." Shubman stood up trying to fold the blanket while still having his phone to his ear.

"Okay toh, aane ke baad kya hua woh sab batana." Shubman hummed, he wasn't going to tell them everything of course and Virat knew that, it was between him and her. "Accha ab bye. Nushkie ko bhi batana hai. So byebye."

"Bye..." He replied. "Akanksha, mujhe ab jana padega." He said a little too loudly. She shushed him immediately. Chitra laid in her arms slightly drowsy.

"Shubman, parso tumhara match hai na?" Shubman nodded. "Toh aaj yehi rest karlo na. Bohot late ho gya hai aur mai tumhe drop bhi nhi kar sakti. Tum guest room mai so sakte ho." She looked away when she felt his eyes on her.

"Are koi baat nhi, tumhe takleef hogi." She shook her head, "Nhi, nhi hogi." He looked at her reluctantly once again. He nodded.

"Mai tumhe room dikhati hu. Mere saath aana zara." He followed her closely behind, retracing her steps exactly. She felt his movements behind her but she didn't react. She continued walking forward, taking small glimpses of his antics. "Ek second haan?" She walked into the room that was supposed to be hers. She laid Chitra down carefully before walking out. Shubman noted that it wasn't the master bedroom. It didn't make sense. Why would she sleep in a room that's not the master bedroom...if this was her house anyway.

She walked a few more steps before stopping in front of a black door. "Ye rha guest room, bathroom bilkul samne hai. Tum fresh ho jao mai kapde lekar aati hu tumhare liye." He watched her figure retreat into another room. He texted Virat the change of plan and went into the bathroom, taking a quick shower...and exactly on point he heard a knock on the door.

"Shubman, maine kapde bahar rakh diye hai. Kuch 5-10 second baad le lena. Aur change karne ke baad kitchen mai aa jana, mai dinner banati hu." She rushed away out of the hallway and in the kitchen. Shubman waited the 10 seconds before pulling the clothes in. It had everything he'd need (no not underwear- eww no)...and it made him slightly uncomfortable. Why would she have mens clothing in her home? But he let it slide. She probably had things going on.

(OooOOooOO whose is it? I mean it's quite clear whose it is but still....make guesses I wanna see)
