PLACE: HASTINAPUR SABHA
Everyone in the Sabha maintained a grave silence after the statements made by the Panchabootham. Kuru elders were shocked to hear about the misdeeds of Pandavas which they have not noticed. Mahamahim and Mahamantri were very much shocked hearing those statements but suddenly they realized that they have pinpointed the mistakes of Duryodhan and Kauravas but didn't realize the mistakes of Pandavas at all. They always searched for the mistake of Duryodhan and scolded him for that but failed to do the same for Pandavas.
Pandavas were gobsmacked to hear about their misdeeds. They never thought about it in depth. They also failed to realize the pain which they have caused to their wife by their remarriages. They felt like it they were brought into their reality mirror. They were ashamed to see their reality reflection.
Draupadi was astonished. Whatever the Panchabootham said was true and she herself asked these question to herself but there was no answer for those. At the corner of her heart, she also wanted to punish her husbands but she thought that the 7 years was enough punishment for them. So, she didn't thought of giving punishment for them.
"Was the 7 years of exile not our punishment?" questioned Sahadev. "How come the terms of losing the lost round in the game can be the punishment, Rajkumar?" countered Ashwatthama. Sahadev fell into silence as the question was fair and he didn't have answer for it. "Bhabhishree, even though they are your husbands, you should punish them. You are not only their wife but also Samragyi. Think as a Samragyi. If you don't give punishment to them, then we will not do our punishments." stated Duryodhan.
At the words of Duryodhan, Bheem became furious. He knows that he was wrong in this but he didn't like Duryodhan to tell them what to do and not to. Moreover, he became anger when he said that he will not complete his punishments. "Don't tell my wife what to do and not to do. A sinner like you has no rights to talk to the pious woman. It is solely her decision whether she wants to punish us or not. Don't open your mouth, wretched being." yelled Vrikodhar. Other Pandavas were trying to stop him from speaking further. Just as he completed his sentence, a spear was thrown towards him and it grazed his arm a mild wound.
Everyone turned towards the direction from where the spear came. There stood Saagnika with an angry expression in her face. The moment she heard the words about her Kakashree, she took the spear from the soldier near her and throwed it towards Bheemsen's direction. Everything happened in few seconds, even the greatest warriors had a hard time to guess and avoid that attack.
"I already warned you but you didn't pay heed to my words. So bear its consequences." said Vasundhara calmly in contrary to her eyes which held anger. Her voice made Bheem shiver a little. "You shouldn't do like this Laila. They are elder to you." chided Radheya. "Wow, after turning our Putri against us. Now you are playing a good guy role. Hats off to your acting, sutputra" taunted Nakul.
"I had already told you Rajkumar. I am no daughter of yours. You don't have any rights to talk about him like that. He was never the one to throw a 6 year old child cruelly out of the kingdom at the middle of a night unlike you people. He was never the one to ignore his children. He cherished me like his own daughter unlike you people. So, don't dare speak like that about MY FATHER." said Karnaatmaja.
Pandavas and Draupadi visibly flinched a little on hearing her words directed towards them. They felt guilty for whatever they did with her. They don't know how to redeem for that. Draupadi to avoid the further tension, she concluded "I will state punishment for my husbands also who was also involved in the Dyut Sabha."
