A week later, Regenia and Giuseppe found themselves readying themselves for their gala set for that night. Genia also had the time to think about the job offer Giovanni Sr placed in front of her. After battling with her inner feelings and a long talk with her mother, she decided to take the job. It was true she had a lot to learn, and being the US Ambassador was a big jump from detective, but everyone thought it was for the best, and the President agreed to let her work from home, coming in only when needed. It was surprising to learn the man was on their side besides trying to lock them away.
"Tell me how the colors for the gala got changed at the last minute. This was your doing, wasn't it, Brother!" Arianna yelled as Giuseppe rolled his eyes, turning to walk towards Regenia while his sister continued to yell. Little did she know it was all Genia's idea to change the colors from silver, white, and gold to teal and gold. Regenia thought it would be better to use different colors than what they used for their announcement.
"I change the colors at the last minute. Do you have a problem with it?"
"With you changing them. No... not at all. Regenia, have I told you how your ass has gotten bigger. Can I smack it? I want to see it jiggle. Keem, I know you want to see it. Look at this." As always, she smacked her ass as hard as she could while Hakeem stared at Arianna like she was crazy before his eyes found Giuseppe's. "I wasn't looking. "I agree if you want your baby to see their Padre, best for him to keep his eyes to himself.... Noah, it's good to see you made it made... Two hours late." Giuseppe spoke while Noah gave him his middle finger and picked up the list of things they needed to get done. "I thought we had a decorator. Why are we doing this ourselves?" Questioned Milana while Regenia gave the girl a big smile, picking up a crying Giovanna.
"Mamma, can I feed her? I know how to hold her bottle and everything Papà taught me." Sienna smiled, holding out her hands. Regenia couldn't tell her no, as she smiled and directed Sienna to sit while she gave the young girl her little sister. Happily, she took the bottle and started to feed her sister as Regenia turned to rest.
"I changed the colors because we used them once before, and I wanted to decorate because it's something we can do together. Enzo, tell me what you and my sister did yesterday for your date." Regenia smiled, watching as he looked at Isla with a shocked look while she turned to her. "We went to Venice. I wanted her to see where I grew up, then I took her out on my yacht for lunch." He spoke while Genia studied their faces and nodded. Isla and Enzo seemed to like each other, which made her happy as she turned to Carter.
"And you."
"My little shorty wanted to go to the shooting range. She got mad aim, and I respect that. Having a woman that loves to do the same shit as me; tells me I have a bad bitch. Lana doesn't like the candlelight dinners every night. She likes to let her wild side out, and I let her." He smirked, making Regenia shake her head. Milana was a little on the wild side and loved to do things other girls wouldn't dream of. If Carter could match, it meant they were good for one another. She thought the same about Isla and Enzo as she watched them laugh about something he said while they put up the balloon arch. Regenia couldn't help but smile as he husband wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her neck.
