Y/n couldn't shake off her thoughts about Hobie. He had managed to infuriate her to no end, and his smug smirk was etched into her memory.
<<Ugh, how irritating!>> she muttered, unable to let go of her frustration.
Her mother's voice suddenly broke through her reverie, as she noticed Y/n's furrowed brow.
<<What's wrong, dear?>> her mother asked, concern evident in her voice.
Y/n quickly composed herself, forcing a smile <<Oh, nothing, Mom. Just lost in my thoughts.>> she replied, masking her annoyance.
Her mother nodded, believing her, and mentioned that she had to head to the library since it was opening soon. It was then that Y/n realized she too had to go to the library. In order to gain entrance to the University of Law, she had to pass a test on general culture and logic exercises. The library seemed like the perfect place for her to study – a peaceful and solitary environment.

The library stood tall, its grand architecture beckoning students of all disciplines. As Y/n entered, she felt a sense of tranquility wash over her. The shelves were lined with countless books, inviting exploration and knowledge. The hushed whispers of students and the faint scent of aged paper added to the serene atmosphere.
Y/n wasted no time and headed straight for the law section. She selected a couple of books, eager to delve into her studies. Finding an empty table, she sat down and arranged her personal notebook and pencil, ready to absorb as much information as possible. The test was still eight months away, and she knew she had to be diligent and retain as much knowledge as she could.

Engrossed in her studies, Y/n's attention was momentarily diverted when she caught a glimpse of vibrant colors from the corner of her eye. Blue and red.
Oh no, absolutely not!
She didn't need to look directly to know who it was. Instinctively, she raised her book, hiding her face, hoping he wouldn't notice her. Her eyes darted to left to right as she pretended to read the book, hoping he wouldn't notice her
She had resolved not to speak to Hobie ever again.
But her hopes of avoiding him were dashed when a deep voice sounded from behind her, saying, <<Hey, love.>>
Reluctantly, Y/n lowered her book and raised her head up to find Hobie standing there.
<<I'm surprised to see you here.>> she said, unable to hide her astonishment.
Hobie, with his trademark confidence, and not offended by her tone of voice, smirked and replied <<Well, I'm not surprised to see you. I had a feeling you were a nerd.>>
Y/n bristled at his comment and retorted <<I'm not a nerd. I'm here to study for a test, not to engage with someone who clearly intends to bother me.>>.
She took a seat, resolute in her decision to ignore him and focus on her studies.

Hobie leaned against the table, his presence unwelcome. He glanced over at Y/n and remarked, <<Law is such a boring subject, don't you think?>>
Y/n looked at him, surprised by his audacity, and asked <<How did you know I was studying law?>>
Hobie chuckled arrogantly and replied, <<Well, you are holding a law book, aren't ya? Didn't know you were pretty stupid too.>>
Her frown deepened <<Shut up.>> said under her breath and she returned to her books, determined not to let him distract her. However, to her dismay, Hobie remained by her side, refusing to leave her alone with her thoughts.
<<I don't think I am, love.>> he whispered, to piss her off even more. And it was working.
And calling her love? Pissed her off even more.
So tried to keep studying as he stayed by her side, he was just staying there, looking.
He leaned a bit closer <<Are you busy after this?>> he whispered, to do not bother people around them.
She kept studying <<I am.>>.
He shifted a bit and put his elbow on the table and layed his head on his hand <<Doing?>>.
<<My business.>> she kept writing on her notebook. He rolled his eyes in annoyance, and kept talking <<Wanna hang out?>>.
<<No.>> she answered quickly.
<<Why?>>.
<<Because I said so.>>.
<<Not even to a music shop?>> he proposed, with hope. She still denied and nodded no <<I said no.>>.
He left out a deep sigh and stood up <<Alright. I am not forcing you. See ya love.>> he spoke, starting to walk towards the exit.
She didnt even bothered to say bye to him. She was still studying.
She was not going to spend her time in stupid things. Even with this guy.
But the work was getting her tired, and also for her it was boring. Trying to memorize every law there was in the book.
Y/n sighed. She really needed now music to distract her head.
She slightly glanced over the tall boy who was opening the door and leaving, without holding any book. Before she could even realize, she was now standing up, leaving the books she took on the table and followed the boy outside the library.
She glanced left and right on the road, to check where he went.
He turned left, so she did, walking quickly next to him silently. It wasn't an embarassing silnece, it was a teased one. It was like if he know she was coming anyway, and he had small smile on his face. She glanced at him and he glanced back.
<<Where is this shop?>> she asked.
<<I thought you didn't want to come along.>> he teased <<It's a few blocks away, love.>>.
