As Y/n finished getting ready, she stepped out onto the streets.
She had been looking forward to Hobie's concert at the Jack Daniel's pub all day now. She already heard his music, even though it was not her taste of music, she unexpectely liked it. The neon lights of the city illuminated the night as she made her way through people.

She arrived after ten minutes or less at the entrance of the famous pub, Jack Daniel's: the sound of music and laughter spilled out onto the street, drawing every person in like a magnet. The pub's was well known for its nights full of good drinks and great music.
Y/n pushed open the big wooden door and was immediately enveloped in the atmosphere.
The interior was dimly lit, with soft, warm lighting casting a cozy glow over the rustic decor. The scent of beer and whiskey hung in the air, mingling with the sound of chatter and laughter. People were scattered around the pub, some sitting at tables, others gathered around the bar, all enjoying the early night.

Y/n scanned the room, searching for Hobie. She knew he would be here somewhere, to try the instrumets and get ready for his concert. Just as she was about to give up, a familiar thick British accent caught her attention, followed by a squeeze on her arm.
<<Well, well, if it ain't the lovely Y/n. You made it.>> a voice could be heard behind her. Y/n turned around to see Hobie standing there, a mischievous grin on his face. He was dressed well. Of course, if you saw him, you would surely know he was part of a punk band: jeans, leather jackets with slogans, pins, and patches on him.
A gentle smile was spreading across her face as she spoke <<I've been looking everywhere for you.>>
Hobie smirked, his accent adding charm to his words <<Here I am. Come on, let me get you a drink.>>
Together, they made their way through the crowd to a table near the stage. As they settled in, Y/n spoke <<You don't have to.>>.
<<Don't worry about it. Drink as much as you want.>> he spoke seriously <<And I do want to.>>.
Y/n was about to refuse, but Hobie's gaze was so insistent that she couldn't say no. She siged and said <<Then a mojito for me.>>.
Hobie nodded, ordering one just for her.

Y/n took a sip of her mojito as she sat back, feeling the buzz of the lively atmosphere around her. She turned to Hobie, curiosity shining in her eyes as she asked <<How did you and your band get the opportunity to perform here tonight anyway?>>.
Hobie leaned back in his chair, a nostalgic glint in his eyes <<Ah, it's a bit of a long story, love. The owner of this place has a son who happens to know one of my bandmates. He heard us play at a local gig and recommended us to his dad. Next thing we knew, we got the call to come and perform here.>>
Y/n nodded, impressed by the turn of events that led them to this opportunity. Just then, one of Hobie's bandmates called out to him from across the pub, signaling that it was time to get ready for the show.
Hobie turned back to Y/n, a regretful smile on his face <<It's time for me to hit the stage. Enjoy the show, love.>>.
Y/n smiled back <<Good luck up there.>>
With a final nod, Hobie made his way towards the stage, leaving Y/n to her table.
Eventually, they got on the stage, getting their guitars and stuff. Then people started to draw their attention to the stage when Hobie grabbed the microphone, speaking <<Good evening folks, ready to get into fun?>> he spoke with his usual teasing voice, as people started cheering. They didn't hesitate but started playing music, as Hobie tapped his foot down at the rhythm of music.
The music was characterized by fast-paced tempo, the rhythm was fast and driving, with quick and repetitive drum beats that often incorporate. The bass lines were simple but effective.
Hobie's fingers moved fast on his guitar, as he singed loudly this lyric.

In a world where freedom's just a dream
The system's corrupt, it's not what it seems
They control us with fear and lies
But we won't sit back, we'll rise

Fight for our rights, break the chains
No longer will we be their slaves
Rise up against the corrupted elite
We'll never back down, we won't admit defeat

Voices silenced, minds oppressed
But we'll resist, we'll never rest
They hide the truth behind their lies
But we'll expose their deceitful guise

Fight for our rights, break the chains
No longer will we be their slaves
Rise up against the corrupted elite
We'll never back down, we won't admit defeat

They try to divide us, keep us apart
But together we're strong, we'll make a new start
United in our fight for justice and truth
We'll reclaim our freedom, in the face of uncouth

Oppression, injustice, everywhere we turn
But we'll keep fighting, we will not adjourn
The power of the people, unstoppable force
We'll rise up together, stay the course

Fight for our rights, break the chains
No longer will we be their slaves
Rise up against the corrupted elite
We'll never back down, we won't admit defeat

We'll stand tall, and we'll never yield
For freedom and justice we'll wield
The corrupt system will crumble and fall
We'll create a new world for one and all.

The song even though it was full of music, the words were so effective, makig people cheer but also reflect on its meaning.
Y/n was sitting, hearing the song's words, feeling Hobie's feelings in that song. Even though she was there, between so many people, Hobie's gaze never left her figure.
And she liked it.
