<<How was the song? Liking it?>>
<<Acceptable>>
<<Aye... Just that?>>
<<Why?>>
<<I wanted a more elaborated answer, love>>
<<Hmm... it was okay I guess.>>
<<What else?>>
<<It was amazing, actually.>>
<<That's a decent answer, love, thanks.>>

After Hobie's exibition, him and his band got free drinks, since they singed there. Hobie introduce the whole band to Y/n. And they seemed to like her.
They chatted about music, their interest, their drinks, sitting to a table as the night went on.
To certain hour, she excused herself <<I shall go home now, before it gets too late.>>
<<'lright love, let's go.>> Hobie nodded, as he put his drink on the table and stood up. Y/n looked at him <<Where are you going?>>
<<Taking you home?>>
<<You don't have to.>> she insisted.
<<'Ya think I'd leave you walk back home alone when I invited you there? Bullshit.>> Hobie stated and put his jacked on, then pulled her along with him <<And also I want to. Let's go.>>.
As he said that, they walked through the exit, Hobie's band waved at them both and one of them yelled something in a thick british accent, something that was told to Hobie. The music and the chat in that room was too much, so much that Y/n couldn't hear the words. Probably Hobie didn't neither but undertood. In fact he was slightly rigid, but eventually walked out the pub with Y/n.

Outside the sky was of a deep black color, just little stars could slightly illuminate all around. The climate was pretty chill, Y/n closed up her jacket to do not get sick or worse. But it was useless, it was too much. Hobie realized that, as they walked silently. He glanced at her for a second, seeing her slightly shivering. He just took off his jacket, showing his naked arms, just wearing that light t-shirt. As he was going to put his own jacket on her shoulders, she noticed it and moved slightly <<No, you'll catch a cold.>> she stated. He rolled her eyes <<I don't get sick, that's temperature is nothing for me.>>.
<<But still, I have my jacket. I am->> she tried to refuse the jacket one more time, but he just put it on her, zipping it up to keep her cold as much as the jacket could.
She tried to complain again, she was stubborn and he knew that. But he just said <<Shut your mouth, love. I want to do this. Now keep walking will ya'?>>. His tone was insistent, but calm, trying to do not seem rude. He truly wanted to do it, he felt the urge to do it. Just as if he couldn't help it but do that, as if he couldn't live without doing it.
She just nodded, murmuring a <<Thanks...>> and she kept walking, as he sided her.
The silence was not uncomfortable, otherwise it was calm and likable. As if in that silence, so many things were told: their thoughts; their ideas; their fears; their feelings; their secrets.
There was no need to talk, it was just perfect.
They walked on the sidewalk, as cars passed by them. Hobie eventually kept an eye on her, moving her near the wall as he was on the street's side. The so called "sidewalk rule", when a man walks on the part of the sidewalk closest to the street when they're with a woman. Men, not all but some, follow the sidewalk rule to protect women from any dangers on the street.
Another murmured <<Thanks>> by Y/n's lips could be heard, Hobie didn't talk but just smiled a bit.
They turned in a street, as they kept walking, till they arrived to Y/n's place. All the lights were off, looked like her mother was asleep. They stopped walking and Y/n turned to look directly into Hobie's eyes <<Thanks for taking me home.>>.
The boys just shrugged <<That was no problem love, no need to thank me.>> he looked at her too. Her eyes were big, he could see tiredness, so he just said <<Look like you are going to knock out soon.>>.
Y/n giggled a bit at his affermation, since it was true, nodding <<Maybe, yes. I am not used to come back home at this hour.>>.
<<That was an exeption?>>
<<Just this time.>> she smiled gently. Her smile was contagious, making him smile too.
They just looked like two idiots, looking at each other, communicating one thing "Do it.".
Do it.
But none of them was going to make a move anythime soon.
<<You should go now.>> he said, moving his head and indicating the front door. She nodded, not taking her eyes off of him <<Yes, I will.>>.
She walked to it, as she took out the keys out of her pocket and searching the right one to open the door. As she did that, she opened the door, and glanced one more time at Hobie. He nodded <<Sweet dreams, love.>>.
She nodded as well <<Get home safely, give me a call when you get there.>>.
That made him feel... so happy <<Aye, sure thing.>>.
And just with that, he turned around and walked away, as he disappeared in the dark streets.
