Time passed, the afternoon was already here as the rain stopped but the sky kept its grey aspect. The weather was bringing a heavy atmosphere upon the castle which Maya sensed too well. With a little bit of ruse, the girl has been able to make Garreth enter into the Ravenclaw common room so he would be able to access her bedroom. She needed him, his reassurance to be able to go through all of this.

"You will help me find a nice dress right?" The redhead asked nervously as they entered her room.

"I sure will help Maya, I know this dinner is important... However... Know that I share your point, you shouldn't be forced in it but at the same time, if it could prevent you from being in worse hands... Ahh such a complicated situation... If I weren't your cousin, I would propose to you and so you'd be safe and would break our engagement whenever you find the right man for you." Garreth said.

"I know you would, I love you for that. You have always been by my side so far, I can't be more grateful to have such a wonderful cousin." she said, searching into her wardrobe for some dresses. "Any idea of colour? I wonder what would suit me the most..."

"You would look beautiful in all kinds of colours and dresses Maya but green definitely suits you better, it makes your eyes stand out. Moreover, you're going to go into the manor of Slytherin descendants so green would be the safest choice in my opinion."

"You're brilliant Garreth! Ok... I found some but... I don't feel like choosing anything... I mean... It's not like I wanted to go anyway..."

Her green eyes looked at her dresses with no interest, her mind wandering to that moment in the morning when her lips touched the one of this honey blond Slytherin that seemed to have caught her eyes. It was no use to fight this lingering memory, she tried but wasn't able to. A smile drew on her face as Garreth came to choose a dress for her. The boy noticed her curved lips with her absent eyes.

"If you were to ask me, I'd say that someone here is in love." he said with a chuckle before looking into her wardrobe. "I always wonder how you girls can keep up with all of these clothes... So many of them..."

"Because men love pretty ladies at their arms and disposal even though most of them can't reciprocate the effort." she answered with a chuckle. "But not you, you are a wonderful guy, your girl would be lucky." she said.

"She sure would if I had one." he chuckled a bit nervously. "Alright, I found your dress for tonight, I know you might not want to hear this but... Pretty sure they will find you very beautiful in it, well not Ominis obviously he won't see you." Garreth laughed.

Maya bursted into laughter as well, Garreth had a point here about Ominis. Her gaze went to the Griffindorn who was holding the hanger. The apparel's design was pretty simple, a sleeveless corset dress with a loose skirt which was very comfortable to wear. The beauty of this dress was the details of it: the fabric's lines of the corset, the satine silk, the beautiful revealing cleavage but not too much, the copper handmade embroidery with small little golden pearl on it place one by one expertise. Weasley couldn't choose any better outfit for her, her lips drew a smile on her face as she looked at him.

"Garreth... You couldn't choose any better. Let me put it on me." she said going befind a screen to change herself. "But tell me... Since the Gaunts are a lot about traditions... Won't the cleavage of this dress be too much? Oh and need you to tie up the corset behind please." the redhead girl asked.

Maya stepped out from the screen, revealing her body wearing the dress as she walked to her bed, her hands holding the wooden pillar in anticipation. Garreth went behind her and took the strings of the corset as he started to pull them sharply to perfectly size the corset on her.
