The sun was slowly rising into the sky, waking up the landscape. The sun rays caressed the skin of the two cousins who were sleeping on the floor of the astronomy tower, teasing their eyelids with its light. Leisurely, their green eyes opened, seeing each other waking up as they were sleeping face to face. A smile came across both of their face, Garreth's hand went to her cheek, pushing back her fiery hair as he caressed her skin.

"Good morning lovely, how did you sleep?" he said.

"As good as a tourmented engaged woman I guess?" she joked and both laughed.

"Want me to help you on preparing yourself again?"

"Yes please. I need you Garreth." she said with a pleaded tone.

"Then come on, let's get the day started, you have to look perfect for tonight and choosing a dress won't be easy and it have to be one you never wore before." the Griffindor added as he got up and extended his hand to her.

"Gladrags then?" Maya asked as she took his hand to stand up as well.

"With a little detour at Three Broomstick for lunch and butterbeers?" he smirked, knowing she'll love the idea.

"Sounds like a plan! Let's get going!" she said.

The two young people went to take their breakfast in the Great Hall before going to their respective common room to get ready as fast as possible. When all was in order, they joined each other at Hogwarts North Exit, both smiling at each other.

"Ready?" Garreth asked.

"Yes, I am." she answered.

His hand reached hers and in an very short moment they disappeared as they apparated to Hogsmeade. They started the day playfully by visiting Zonko and Honeydukes before going to take lunch at the Three Broomsticks. Smiles and laughter were resonating as they drank butterbeers.

"Know what kind of dress you'll wear?" the Griffindor asked as he was eating.

"No that's why you're here my dear cousin." she said playfully.

"Alright, well we'll make you a beauty tonight and not for that Gaunt."

"For who then?" she asked intrigued.

"For Drake of course, do you really think he'll let you be with Ominis all the bloody night based of what you told me about the dinner?"

"I... I guess you have a fair point here..."

"Sure I have, now let's finish eating and get going to make you the most gorgeous young woman he ever saw."

"Garreth please! Stop that..." she said in a hushed tone, embarrassed.

"As if I would, I'm only telling the truth here." he chuckled.

Maya scoffed and continued to eat as they continued to talk and teased each other playfully. When they were done eating, they went to pay Sirona before heading out in order to go to Gladrags.
Arrived at the shop, the cousins were looking at the available dresses and even asked Mr. Hill for help after a while searching.

"Oh! A dress for a dinner dance to celebrate an engagement? I have the perfect attire for you dear! Look at this gorgeous dress, it's from this morning! Designed by myself and of course it's a unique model. No one else will have the same." Augustus Hill said as he handed a splendid red dress to them.

"Merlin's beard... It's... Amazing... But wouldn't it be too much?" Maya asked.

"No way it is too much Maya, do I have to remind you that you are the one who'll be celebrated tonight? You have to be absolutely wonderful. Moreover, there's someone who'll fall even more for you." Garreth teased.
