“Happy New Years!!!” You heard the muffled shouts of excitement through you're little nook in the wall.
You never really understood why humans got so excited over just a new year- but you thought it was nice to see people happyanyways.
They knew you existed. All of them at the party did. Hell- you met them! Well individually of course. But you couldn’t handle all of them at once… not just yet. So you just sat, sipping some tea, working on a gift for them. Their birthday was soon anyways.
*tap tap* “Little one? You ok in there? Brought you something.” Their voice was sorta muffled behind the wall. You quickly got up and exited from the little hole that let out to the desk they had.
“Happy New Year, my love.” They said as they handed you your favorite kind of treat. They’re too kind. Too sweet. Before you grabbed the treat, you grabbed their fingers and hugged them like you couldn’t let go. You wouldn’t let go. “I love you.” You told them.
They smiled sweetly and gazed at your small form.
“ I love you too.”
