Something is wrong. She only has a second to register that, through the dull ache in her head, when she opens her eyes to see two walls moving around her. She looks up and finds a giant face filling her sky, this is unreal. She pieces together that these “walls” are actually hands, as impossible as that may sound. She lets out a startled shout, and pushes herself backwards, trying to get away, but only succeeding in pushing herself closer to this giant’s grip. Her back presses into one of the hands, and fingers curl loosely around her, lifting her up and away from the ground. She can’t stop from shaking, not even wanting to know how high she’s being taken. It’s then when she registers that this giant is trying to talk to her.
“Cassey are you okay?” The voice feels like it’s rumbling through her. How would a giant know her name? She looks into the large hazel eyes in front of her, and it clicks that she knows him. This is Spencer, just… huge? They’ve been friends since high school, and now they’re going to college together. That all makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is how she’s sitting in his palm right now. You would think someone would tell you ‘by the way sometimes when I feel like it, I can grow to the size of a building.’ She looks up at her massive friend, not entirely trusting her voice, but speaking anyway.
“Why are you so big?” He simply blinks down at her for a second, looking confused.
“I don’t mean to be too critical… but I really think a better question is, why are you so small?”
What. She tears her eyes away from his to take a look around. Sure enough, the rest of the room is at an equally gigantic scale. They’re on a couch in an apartment, her apartment she realizes with a jolt. The events of the day coming back to her, they went over to her apartment to study, then they were taking a short break, which was really just an excuse to procrastinate and watch a movie and now… here they are. She turns her gaze back up to him.
“I don’t… I don’t know?”
