Immediately after Kazan was done doing that disgusting act with that wretched princess, he went to go get a shower. But no matter how many times he washes himself or silently cries his heart out, the guilt just won't go away. Again, he hates the despicable act this princess made him do. The monster that she made him become in that horrible moment—it makes him sick to the core.

However, he won't blame her alone for this. Since he chose to do the deed with her, he's just as guilty.

"If it's not a problem, I would like to go see Ziki," Kazan said after exiting the shower, followed by getting dressed. "Or am I forbidden to go see my best friend too?"

"It's fine," Danica, who lay curled up on the bed, voiced with difficulty. She was hoarse from all the screaming and crying she did for what felt like an eternity while Kazan sexually assaulted her. And if it weren't for the fact that she healed very quickly, all the bruises from him choking and squeezing her would still be visible.

Honestly, she is traumatized and terrified of him, or rather, what he has become because of that stray. It's clear that the monster earlier was not the Kazan she knows and loves. He was somebody else. But she loves him so much and wants to be with him forever. It can't be helped. Therefore, she will have to force herself to move past this. She's prepared to do and endure anything until he comes to his senses—until he transforms back into the Kazan she knows and loves. "But if I hear a peep that you went to see that stray."

"I know, I know." Kazan was annoyed by her threats. He then rushed off to Ezekiel's place at four thirty a.m. in the morning. And his best friend was not happy to be disturbed from what seemed to be a good nap. He looked like he wanted to kill Kazan.

"What is the problem now, sovereign?" Ezekiel complained as he sat up in bed and made eye contact with the seemingly frantic Kazan. Ugh, this is not how he expected his morning to start off. But lately, the sovereign's woman troubles seem to be his norm. "Is it the princess or the stray? Maybe it's the two of them."

"No," Kazan lied.

"Really now?" Ezekiel scoffed; his sovereign was not very convincing at all.

"Ok, it is." Kazan took a seat on the bed.

"Are you going to tell me what it is so I can go back to sleep?" Ezekiel asked after what felt like an hour passed, but really it's only been a few seconds. "Unlike you, some of us have work two hours from now."

"Ok then." Kazan didn't hesitate to tell Ezekiel all that happened after he left his home several hours ago. Him throwing out Danica from the pack. The elders and Dorian, forcing him to apologize and marry her in a week. Danica knows about him being claimed and wants him to throw the stray out by sunrise. It's all a shi*tshow.

"Damn! All that drama in just one night." Ezekiel got out of bed to put on some pants, followed by a t-shirt he took from his closet. There is no way he can go back to sleep after hearing all this. "So what will you do? Did you tell my grandfather?"

"Not yet."

"Man, you are so screwed. So will you throw the stray out of here by sunrise?" Ezekiel asked. Honestly, he doesn't have a problem with that. After the beatdown he received, he despised that witch. And even now, he's a bit sore, but he's doing a lot better compared to hours ago.

"Of course, he's not that stupid." Leah was the one to answer, spooking both men.

Just how did she sneak up on them without them knowing?

Anyway, Kazan was so ashamed of having sex with Danica, so he didn't dare look her in the eyes. He felt as if he betrayed her; he did betrayed her, and the guilt is eating him alive.
