The room was even more tense than before, now that Richardson is dead. As for the other elders and high officials, they were all panicking. They wanted to run for their lives, but fear petrified them. If they move, they will die. If they don't, they still die. And so most of them got down on their knees and started begging Kazan to spear their lives.
But why should he? Sure, Kazan is aware that some of those present here had nothing to do with attempting to kill him. However, they have all gathered here at a secret meeting to replace him. To him, they are all his enemies.
However, as Leah was getting ready to execute these old bastards, Kazan had a change of heart and stopped her.
Now that his two main obstacles are dead, there is nothing to worry about regarding the internal issue of the pack. The high officials present are no longer a threat to him now. He never thought he would see this day so soon.
"Alright. I'll stop because you asked nicely." Leah suppressed her aura to ease the tension a bit in the room. "But what about the old puppy and his goons? You do know if you leave them alive, they will be a future thorn in your side."
"And if I kill him here, my pack will be in danger," Kazan said.
"And if you let them go, your pack is still in danger."
"I promise, I'll cause no harm to you or your Azure pack if you let us leave safely." Sovereign Sabre Red begged for his life. He knows that this woman doesn't have any reason to keep him alive, but Kazan does. This brat had much to lose if he dared to kill him.
"As if I would fall for that," Kazan scoffed. "But I guess I have no choice. Go."
"Thank you." Sovereign Sabre Red felt a bit of relief. "Let's go," he ordered his guys. And as they were about to leave,
"I said you could leave. I never said anything about them." Kazan smirked. "Leah, kill them."
"Yes, my lord." Leah ripped Sovereign Sabre Red bodyguards apart, leaving a bloody mess behind. The three weren't even able to defend or retaliate. It was all over for them in seconds.
So this is the difference in power between the top five packs and all the packs below them. Sovereign Sabre Red was furious about this, but he had suppressed it out of fear of losing his life. And right now, at the rate of things, he doesn't know if he will make it out alive. "Now can I leave?"
"Yes," Kazan answered.
And sovereign Sabre Red didn't hesitate to leave.
"I still think you should have let me kill him." Leah complained.
"Oh, he will die. Elder Dorian, would you please do the honor?" Kazan gave Dorian permission to kill that arrogant old Sovereign. He's not so naive as to let a defeated enemy go free to regain strength and bite him in the back.
"It would be my pleasure." Dorian left to go kill that brat, Sabre Red. He wanted to do so for a long time. And now that relations have gone bad, there is no need to hold back any more.
"You sly little pup." Leah smiled. She's actually a bit surprised Kazan was going through with this. But she guessed he had made up his mind to go through whatever obstacles arose. Good.
"I love it better when you call me Sovereign or Lord." Kazan pulled her closer to him, and both their blood boiled over a hundred degrees. "And besides, I said he could go. I never said I was going to let him live."
"Even if you did let him live, I would have killed him and that daughter of his too before they could get back to their pack."
"I know. But you are pregnant with my child. I don't want you to bloody your hands any further. It's not good for the baby." Kazan kissed her, and she let him. He's been wanting to do that for a long time. "Thank you for helping me get rid of those trashes."
"Speaking of trash, what will you do with them?" Leah was referring to the top officials of the Azure pack, who were still like statues.
"Honestly, I want to kill these traitors. But the truth is, this pack is going to need them to function."
There were some officials who nodded their heads in agreement with Kazan's statement just now. They even swore to never undermine him again if he let them live. The others joined them and swore to stand with him. And as for those who weren't part of the plan to have Kazan killed, they confessed that if they had known what Richardson and Alton did, they would have never been here.
Whatever. "Just get out of here, all of you." Kazan ordered, and the officials immediately left. Now that he's alone with Leah, he can have her right there. Well, his plan didn't go as planned.
"Not so fast, big guy." Leah grasped him by the crotch, and though it should hurt, it actually gets him excited. Well, it's a mixture of both. "Please note that this time, when I grant you the privilege to ravage my body, you are hereby bound to a lifetime contract. This means if you dare to sleep with someone else, I will cripple you." Her clutch got harder and caused him to squirm. "Understand?"
"Yes." Kazan shrieked.
"Good." She releases him and gives him a light kiss.
"Now can I ravage your body?" Kazan requested.
"Not until we are married." Leah fled the scene to ensure that sovereign Sabre Red was dead.
Ugh! Kazan felt like he was about to explode. Damn, she's savage. Leaving a hot-blooded young alpha male like him standing on all three. It's the cruelest thing a woman could ever do. But it is what it is.
