"What's going on, father?" asked the confused Danica. A few minutes ago, her father came barging into her hotel suite breathless, demanding she leave with him. In fact, he didn't even wait for her to give a response or explain why. He just dragged her along behind him. And she's upset about this. However, she assumed it had to be something serious for her father to be in such a panic. Maybe there was a matter back at the pack that demanded his attention.

The father-daughter duo came to a sudden stop a couple of miles away from the border up north between the Azure and Sabre Red Packs upon sighting Dorian, who was accompanied by some strong warriors.

"It seems your boyfriend has ordered my execution," Sovereign Sabre Red said with a bitter smile. He then addressed Dorian. "Isn't that right, Elder?"

"What?" Danica's father's response caught her off guard. "I mean, he wouldn't dare to do such a thing." None of this makes sense. "Elder Dorian, what's the meaning of this? Why is this happening?"

"Well, your father tried to kill my sovereign earlier. Even you should know the severity of doing something that foolish." Dorian responded to the princess before ordering his followers to apprehend her. He also launched an attack at the arrogant sovereign with the intention of killing him. And though sovereign Sabre Red was good at combat and seemed to be keeping up with Dorian, he was actually at a disadvantage.

Danica, on the other hand, was trying her best to escape from these warriors. However, it was pointless. She was easily subdued and held captive. Of course, seeing his now unconscious daughter being taken made Sovereign Sabre Red angry to the point where he shifted. His wolf, who was twelve feet tall and flaming red, hatched from his body like a chicken from an egg. He not only managed to force Dorian back but also hurt a few of the warriors while trying to get to his daughter. But unluckily, when he was a second away from retrieving her from the warrior that was carrying her, Dorian, who has now shifted into a thirteen-foot-tall azure fur wolf with deep ocean blue eyes, came out of nowhere and knocked him aside.

This wasn't enough to stop sovereign Sabre Red, though. He tried effortlessly and numerous times to get to his daughter. However, Dorian, who was like a mountain and swift like the wind, successfully blocked his path every time. And just when Sovereign Sabre had lost all hope that he would ever be able to get his daughter back under these circumstances, some casually dressed young stud appeared before him, knocking Dorian aside as if he were a pesky fly. The newcomer also had the unconscious Danica lying across his arms. As for all the warriors that were running off with Danica, they were all killed by the lad, leaving no corpses behind.

"It seems that you are in a bind here, sovereign Sabre Red." The young lad smiled for a brief moment.

"Lord Damon." Sovereign Sabre, who has now shifted back to humanoid form, got down on his knees. He was shocked to see someone of this caliber here, but he's also glad. If the man didn't show up today, then his daughter would be lost, and he'd probably died a pathetic death.

"I went to visit your territory, but you weren't there to welcome me," Damon whined. "I was then informed by your eldest son that you are at the Azure Pack for your youngest daughter's wedding. And so I've decided to come here to celebrate the union with you. But I did not expect to see you backed in a corner by such a low-level pack."

"I apologize for the inconvenience I've caused your excellency," Sovereign Sabre Red said reverently.

"Water under the bridge!" Damon laughed. "Besides, our packs have signed an alliance. One of your sons is even getting married to a daughter of my family. We are family now, so it's my duty to assist you in times of trouble."

"Thank you." Sovereign Sabre Red is filled with gratitude.

"Like I said, we are family. None of this formality is necessary. Now let's get out of here."

"Of course." Sovereign Sabre Red got up, and Damon handed Danica to him. And as they were about to flee the scene, Dorian's faint breathing entered Damon's ears.

"Oh, so you've managed to somehow survive my attack just now. How interesting." Damon smiled. "Well, I guess I need to use two fingers instead if I'm going to take you down." He made an attempt to finish off Dorian. However, he was surprised when he was stopped and forced a few steps back by something fast and powerful.
