Kazan and Leah entered a state similar to sleep paralysis. And in that state, all of their past and present memories were displayed in both their heads like scenes from a movie. The two were also experiencing each other's feelings and thoughts in every moment. Nothing was left hidden between the two.

Of course, they both felt violated and embarrassed that their most private thoughts and memories were exposed against their will, as any normal person would, but eventually they got over it. Or at least, they have moved past it for now.

Afterwards, the will of the two got shattered (by the massive energy produced by the combination of Nathaniel's core, nature energy, and the awakened Violet Swan bloodline energy of Leah and Kazan) before they tried to forcefully join their will and make it one. But this proved to be a painful and difficult task.

You see, every time their wills attempt to come together and a difference arises, the process starts all over again. They also get punished with a massive force of lightening energy in their brains every time the merge fails, especially Kazan. He felt the brunt of the attack the most. As if he wasn't in enough pain, being the main energy source to trigger this bloodline technique.

He was foaming blood nonstop due to the sensation of his soul feeling as if it were being lacerated, and his body was being crushed to dust for every second he spent in this sleep paralysis-like state.

Note that they've been in this state for only twenty minutes, though it felt like an eternity.

There were many times when Kazan was on the brink of dying, but with the support of Leah and what felt like Nathaniel interference, he managed to barely escape death.

More time passed, and after a million failed attempts, their wills were successfully aligned. Now it's time for the two bodies to become one. Well, become one body in the sense of marriage. A compact one. And this was the most agonizing process for the two, by the way. Their bodies were slowly and painfully reduced to ashes before being reconstructed and made new.

And with this, the bloodline fusion has been completed.

The first thing the two did before exiting the sleep-paralysis-like state was check on their baby to see if all was well. Though Kazan was assured by Nathaniel's memory that his kid wouldn't be in danger, he was involved in the ritual.

No, the baby didn't experience what they did, thank goodness, but his bloodline had undergone a purge and transformation. Now, instead of possessing twenty-five percent of the Violet Swan bloodline, he's now one hundred percent Violet Swan bloodline and also possesses a magic core. But what surprised him and Leah most was the other two powerful fetuses next to their kid, one of which now possesses Nathaniel's consciousness and magic core, which Kazan thought got destroyed in the ritual.

That sly bastard Nathaniel. It seems he wasn't being completely truthful about his rebirth process. No surprise there. He told him that his rebirth would be in the future. Well, to be fair, he never said it was far in the future. Still, he's a fox.

It seems his goal was to get the two to perform the bloodline fusion technique all along to bring him back to life. However, to avoid suspicion, he refrained from mentioning it directly, knowing fully well that Kazan would stumble on this technique and get desperate enough to use it in order to protect Leah, his kid, and his pack.

He will have fun spanking the sh*t out of that bastard when he returns to this world. Leah was feeling the same as Kazan, too, now that their wills are now aligned.

Anyway, when they were done inspecting their kid, or rather, kids, they opened their eyes. And the first thing they noticed was that the hospital was in rubble, followed by Ezekiel, some warriors of the Azure Pack, and Silvio's army that were in charge of guarding the hospital, several feet away.

"Are you two alright?" Ezekiel, after ensuring it was safe, appeared next to the two, greatly concerned. After all, four hours ago, he came to the hospital to check to see if Kazan's condition had improved when, out of the blues, a massive white energy destroyed the room Kazan was in and flung him through a few walls. He tried yet again to approach the screaming Kazan and Leah, though he was injured to the point of vomiting blood, but he was unable to get closer. If he had, the energy would have destroyed him along with the hospital, no doubt.

Luckily, this hospital didn't have any patients apart from the sovereign and his grandfather, whom he had escorted to safety earlier. The curers and guards that worked here all managed to evacuate the building before it got bombarded to rubble by the numerous and massive violet lightning strikes. There was no way the two could survive those violent attacks, or so he thought.

To his surprise, the two were alive and unscathed from those attacks that seemed capable of wiping out a nation. Something tells him that if these attacks hadn't focused on this spot, or rather the couple, and decided to spread instead, Azure City might not have survived it. Forget the city. The whole Azure Pack territory would be wiped off the map.

"We are okay," Kazan and Leah answered in synch. Their voice also caused Ezekiel and those in the vicinity to tremble with fear. Kazan then looked to Ezekiel and commanded, "In the next half an hour, gather all the high officials, warriors, and military-age men of the Pack at the palace courtyard."

"Yes, sovereign," Ezekiel stuttered. The aura radiating from the couple makes it impossible for him to stay calm.

Afterwards, Kazan and Leah fled the scene.
