"As I thought, Sig-san really stands out, huh...."

"Hm? Me?"

I mentioned it to Sig-san but he tilted his head, looking visibly confused instead. He seemed unfazed at the people's attention, as if it was something he was already accustomed to and couldn't be bothered to care about.

We were heading to a restaurant to have lunch to begin our date. It always went like this. Whenever we walked in the city, I could really feel everyone's turning their attention towards us.

Not only Sig-san was taller than the average Alsar people, but he was also imposingly handsome, along with his wolf ears to top it all off. Today, Sig-san was wearing a striped navy blue and white t-shirt and black pants. He also had his favorite magic bag, a khaki leg pouch, hanging on his thigh.

He wore multiple simple red leather bracelets on his wrist for accessories. The layering of the bracelets looked really cool. There was no way someone like him wouldn't stand out.

It had been quite a while since they all started living in Pedrel. The people at the market near our home were already used to seeing him but the young people still shot a look of admiration everytime Sig-san passed by. Whenever Sig-san went to a place he didn't often go to, he always got approached by strangers even.

"Yes. Everyone is looking at Sig-san. Everyone really admires you, Sig-san."

"Hahaha! What are you talking about? While it's true that some people are looking at me in that way, but half of them are looking at you, Ren."

"Huh? O-Oh...."

I told Sig-san about the situation surrounding us but Sig-san casually brushed it off and mentioned something strange instead.

They're looking at me...? Ooh... It must be because someone so cool like Sig-san is walking next to a shorty like me, who looks like a child. And we're even holding hands with our fingers interlocked, like a lover does.

Since we were holding hands with our fingers intertwined together, we must've looked strange to other people. Even for Alsar standard where humans and beastman coexist and having a beastman as one's parent or sibling wouldn't be unusual.

"Ren... I'm sure you must be taking the wrong guess, right...? They're looking at you because you're cute. Look, try to look at them secretly so they won't realize you're glancing at them.."

"Secretly, huh?"

Upon hearing Sig-san's suggestion, I looked around without moving my face. I was only using my eyes to scour the surroundings. Cute girls and beautiful older women along with older men were definitely looking at Sig-san but... It seemed there were some tall women and men with good physiques looking at me?

"Ah! Sig-san, this is the place! Let's have lunch here!"

"Okay."

While observing our surroundings as we walked, we finally arrived at the restaurant we would be having lunch today. When I went to consult with Eva-san about today's date before, there was a group of women in their twenties at Eva-san's place and they gave me various recommendations.

Among their recommendations, there was a hidden restaurant that didn't really stand out in the town. I tried to dine there before and since I was satisfied with the taste of their meal, I decided to have lunch here for today's date.

"Welcome!"

"Excuse me, we have a reservation under Cleva."

"Yes. This way, please."
