"Relax, we sleep between the roses
I sink into your garden
The sounds of worship
Howl through the wind
Sway, to a familiar soundscape
Feel the power it's еndless
Pouring out of us drenched in wavеs"

- Chino Moreno (Crosses)

Donghyuck did not speak for the rest of the day, thinking about the girl's words. No one dared to approach to stop themㅡ only her. Moreover, she had such courage in her body that her gaze burned his skin. No one had ever looked deep into Donghyuck's eyes like she did. Well, maybe apart from his mother, and grandmother.

Leaving school, he wandered behind the boys' backs, lost in thought.

"Yo, bro! Do you want to go to the club with us? There will be some hot girls." Jiwoong asked, lighting up his cigarette.

"Actually, get out of the house, Hyuck. You should get laid. You would feel better, believe me." Younghoon flashed him a smile, then tongue-kissed the girl who was hanging on his shoulder.

"Not today. I do not feel like doing anything." Donghyuck growled, digging his hands deeper into his pockets. "If you want, go ahead, you horny motherfuckers." The last words, he whispered as walking past them. Unfortunately for him, Jiwoong clearly heard his words, yanking the boy back to them, so he could not escape.

"Be careful what you say, Lee. Do not forget who got you out of this whole mess." Jiwoong spat the words out, glaring at the younger boy with hatred.

"Relax, I am just kidding."
Donghyuck shrugged as if it meant nothing, but he felt fear deep down. However, he had one ruleㅡ not show fear to anyone.

Jiwoong drilled into his eyes, not leaving them as Younghoon broke the unnecessary tension.
"Come on, Woong. Leave the man alone. He was joking."

Jiwoong nodded slowly, letting go of the boy's clothes.

"See you tomorrow."
Donghyuck said, straightening his jacket, and heading towards his house.
