"Today I am holding
my heart in two pieces
It's cracked down the middle
right here in my hands.
And people are walking
right by me and living
Sun fills the morning
Sparrows are singing
as I stand here holding
my old teacup heart
waving to strangers
praying for peace."

Sumi did not want to go to school to look people in the eyes. She did not want people to point fingers at her, because of being another victim. She knew she had to go there eventually to not lose a lot of school material; she studied as best as she could. But, not in this moment.

She wanted to take a break from recent events. For the first two days, she managed to simulate her mood, though for the next two daysㅡshe did not have to anymore. It turned out that Sumi had a fever, and had to stay in bed.

Minjae, and Yuta kept her company by texting, or  talking on the phone. Just like her newfound friend, he kept her spirits high.

A week passed, and Sumi felt much better than before. Her fever completely disappeared; although, she had after effects like dizziness, or back painㅡit was safely to say that she was healthy.

Sitting in bed in the afternoon, Sumi was reading one of her fantasy books. She always missed reading, and had almost no time for it. Being stuck in a bookish trance, a sudden sound startled her. It turned out to be a message from Yuta.

Sumi smiled at the thought her friends wanted to take her out of the house, so she would not have to spend the rest of her life with her nose in the books
