"he placed his hands
on my mind
before reaching
for my waist
my hips
or my lips
he didn't call me
beautiful first
he called me
exquisite"

Sumi opened her eyes, feeling exhausted from last night, and a pain in her jaw from laughing too much. Lying on her stomach, she raised her head slightly, seeing the silhouette of a sleeping boy next to her. As all her senses began to come back into place, she also felt pressure on her fingers. When the girl looked down, she saw their intertwined hands.

"Did I sleep like this all night?" Sumi whispered to herself, lifting their joined hands up.

"Donghyuck-ah, spread out that blanket." Sumi ordered, pointing to a blanket lying in the corner of her treehouse. "Better to sleep on this than on the ground."

"Done." He laughed as he obeyed.

"Why do you not just go home?"

"I do not want to leave you. Besides, I am having too much fun." The boy smirked, laying down on the blanket.

"Your grandma will be worried."

"I have done worse things... but I will write to her, of course." He shrugged, waving the phone in his hand.

"What did you write to her?" Sumi asked, watching the boy put the phone down.

"That I am staying with you." He announced as if nothing had happened, and turned over to look at the girl.

"And she just agreed? She does not even know me."

"I told her about you a lot." Donghyuck smiled slyly. "Also, she wants to meet you."

"Oh." Sumi mumbled with widened eyes.

"You look like you are about to go to a meeting with the school principal." Donghyuck laughed. "Relax, my grandma is not dangerous."

"I would love to meet Mrs. Lee." Sumi replied with a laugh.

The young two talked for a long time before they both could immerse into a dreamland. Lying opposite each other with a short distance apartㅡthey had no idea how their hands found way to each other under unconsciousness.

"Do you like what you see?" Sumi heard the hoarse voice of the boy who brought her out of memories, looking at her with narrowed eyes. She laughed while rolling her eyes, automatically separating their hands.
