Captain Man, Kid Danger, and I were battling three thugs until I noticed Evelyn from KLVY News standing in the corner with a few camera men.
"Thanks Trent. I'm here in Swellview Park. In fact, this is the place where I got engaged last month. To a man." she grinned
I furrowed my eyebrows at her while continuing to fight the man in front of me.
"Uh, okay? But what's happening with Captain Man, Kid Danger, and Danger Girl?" Trent asked
One of the criminal slapped me in the jaw, making me step back.
"Ow! Too hard!" I slapped him back repeatedly
"Hey kids! There's a news crew here!" Captain Man pointed out, throwing one of the thugs behind a bush as Kid Danger knocked out the other thug.
"Be right back." he fixed his hair and started walking up to the news crew.
"What?!" Kid Danger yelled
"What are you doing?! No, you can't! We gotta fight these guys-" I got cut off by the three thugs lunging at Kid Danger and I.
"Heyy, Captain Man here. What's going o.." he stopped in his tracks once he saw Evelyn as Kid Danger and I tried to fight off the thugs.
"Hey.. Emily?"
"It's Evelyn."
"Evelyn."
"Remember?"
"Yep."
"Riporta qui il tuo culo!" I shrieked (Get your ass back here!)
"You took me out on two dates and then never called me again?" Evelyn remarked
"Yes, yes, I remember."
Kid Danger and I got picked up by one of the thugs.
"Aw, this is so bad!" he exclaimed
"Toglimi quelle maledette mani di dosso!" (Get your fucking hands off me!)
"Ohh.. Will you stop swearing in Italian?" Kid Danger groaned
"Good. So uh, what's going on back there?" Evelyn wondered as the thugs dropped Kid Danger and I
"Well, we got a report that there are three thugs in the park, vandalizing bushes and shrubs, you know.. Intimidating squirrels- is that an engagement ring?"
