"Latest victim came in five minutes ago. Nineteen–year–old female, works at Nacho Ball." the doctor informed Kid Danger and I as we walked through the hospital, looking at the victimized patients.
"The close one or the nice one?" Henry questioned, because it is a very necessary question.
"The close one." the woman turned to face us, I winced at her answer
"Let's take a look." I shrugged but the doctor stopped me for a moment
"I should warn you, she's trashy."
She pulled away the curtains covering a sobbing girl that was covered in trash.
"She was not kidding."
"Wow, she's a real mess."
The girl cried out "I can hear you!"
"And we hear you too." Kid Danger placed a hand on her shoulder sympathetically
"Tell us what happened." I urged her, plucking off a plastic straw from her hair
She whimpered, trying to compose herself "I'd just finished my shift at Nacho Ball, yes the close one—"
"SOMEONE BETTER BE DEAD!" I heard a voice ring through the halls
Oh my God.
"Victim's over here, Cap.." Kid Danger called out to the older man
"Oh– uh, the victim? The victim's right here." he gestured to himself
He says as he's wearing a Battle Pigs t–shirt.
"He's six feet tall, sweats diesel, poops bravery, and is missing the new Battle Pigs movie right now!"
"Ew." I smiled sarcastically
"Oh, I saw that last night!" the doctor beamed "The ending is so—"
"Da–da–da–da–da, don't tell me, don't tell me, ah-gah-gah-gah-gah!" my dad warned, putting his fingers into his ears
"He's been looking forward to this movie for a while.." Kid Danger explained as I nodded next to him and pat my dad's back
"Yes! Yes I have, yes I have. And everytime I try to go see it, some stupid criminal commits some stupid crime and then I have to leave the theater and— honestly, what do the cops in this town actually do?!
"Amen!" I gestured to my dad in agreement before turning back to the sobbing girl "Anyway, this is Mandy."
"Wow, she's a real mess."
"Yeah."
"We're aware."
"I mean, yikes, right? What happened to her?" Captain Man chuckled "How's it going?" he greeted the nurse before taking a seat next to Mandy
