═══════❀•°❀°•❀═══════ Audrianna's POV
I walked into the main room of the Man Cave—fully expecting, for once, to have a normal day—but noooooo—instead, I find my husband attempting to pry open a crate with a hammer.
"What are you doing?"
"Uh—" Henry immediately chucked the hammer across the room before plopping down on the crate. "Nothing. Just, uh... just chillin'. On this... sick, cube-shaped, wood chair."
"That crate belongs to my dad." I crossed my arms, staring at him with a deeply disappointed look.
"How am I supposed to know that?"
"It says 'property of Ray Manchester.'"
"For all I know, you've written that just now."
I rolled my eyes. This boy is going to be my downfall. "So, why'd you throw that hammer across the room?"
"Because it was asking too many questions, Audriannuh.Which you are also doing, so... boom." He stood, looming over me like he'd won something.
"Henry," I scolded. "What you're doing is wrong. You can't open someone else's crate with a hammer!"
"I know." His shoulders slumped in defeat.
I pulled out my weapon. "You gotta use a crowbar!"
"YES!" Henry's face lit up as I wedged it into the crate. "Amazing turn!"
"I know!"
"That was good—you were all like 'You can't open someone else's crate!'"
"I said that."
"And then you were like 'Sike! Crowbar.'"
"That was the turn."
"I knew I made the right call!"
"I know, honey—now, help me before someone yells at us for doing something stupid?"
"Step aside!" The elevator doors opened.
"Jillhammer comin'!" Piper announced.
I threw the crowbar across the room.
"Uh, what's up?" Henry cleared his throat a little too aggressively. "What are you guys doing?"
"What's—uh... what's going on with you?" I shrugged.
"We're just hangin' out."
"Stop lying," Piper said flatly.
"Yeah, we tried to open Ray's big, cube-shaped chair too," Jasper said, setting the jillhammer on top of the crate.
"But, the crowbar didn't work, so we went home and grabbed my jillhammer," Piper explained.
