I took a deep breath, threw the ball on the ground and self alley oop dunked it. I swung around the rim and let go.
I'm back....
I saw my girlfriend walk in and she passed the ball to me. "So, how do you feel?" I rubbed my hands. "I feel..... better.... much better." I said. She smiled and looked at me. "Thank you.... for this." I looked at the necklace around her neck. "I was going to give it to you af-" "I know. I know." She said. She always interrupts me when I start to bring it up. I felt bad, sure i took the damage, but it seems like the person that was actually hurt was her... she took a bigger blow then me.... "You aren't mad at me for it are you?" She huffed and played with the necklace. "No I was just- it affected me, to see you there bruise and beaten. I've never seen anything like it." "I've dealt with worse." "This isn't a joke, baby! I can lose you to stupid shit like this." "I know, I know." I said. She huffed and crawled next to me. "I don't wanna lose you." I gulped and looked at her. "Okay, promise... I won't do stupid things again."
