Jasper's pov
We were in the locker room talking about 2k and how park games were going. The thing is, we were also thinking about an end of year gift for coach, as he brought us together for these 4 years and it's like a gift to have such close friends, who care and love you, who fight beside you, like that's the real blessing.
On and off the court, on the daily, just together. I mean, we all have our separate lives but when we come together, it's like a mix of all our lives into one, which is honestly, very.... crazy, it's unexpected as well. No one really understands that when you have a high school or college sports team, that comes together, they build a bond since freshman year and it builds up, therefore, 4 years deep, you are like a family.
You learn how to become one, you learn how to work as one, the chemistry builds and 4 years deep, the team is the most dangerous because they are extremely developed.... so it's hard to stop that when they just work based on pure understanding, they know what to do, the minute they step on the court.
So on the daily, we are together, lunch, sometimes dinner, off the court, talking in the car, behind the school, after and before school, on the weekends, we build up.
