After the team left, I walked down the street until I reached the corner and turned right. The next street I entered was extremely wide and there were several abandoned cars near the two sidewalks. But the middle of the street was clean, so I took the opportunity to walk freely there.

On that street, there was an abandoned movie theater on the left and further ahead an abandoned nightclub on the right. There were also some extremely tall office buildings with huge glasses. The buildings weren't made entirely of glass like the Two Crystals, but they were beautiful.

While walking down that street, I watched the movie theater posters and saw some titles with photos of people dressed in specific clothes. Those people seemed to be playing characters and probably dressed like that just to act. I guess that's what they call a movie. One day I'll watch one and draw my own conclusions.

Further ahead, on the right sidewalk, was the abandoned nightclub. The name of the nightclub was "Kaliente" and there were sexy photos of women on the outside walls. I think I've seen a few nightclubs like that in Las Vegas. If I were younger and more innocent, I would think this was just a clothing store. But now I know what it is and I feel a little embarrassed.

Hannah: - Damn. I expected to find anything but a nightclub here. I wonder where those women are now. Are they still beautiful or have they turned into a rotting monster? They must be chewing on someone's arm right now.

I kept looking at those photos a little longer until I decided to keep walking.

Hannah: - Well... At least we have something in common. I'm thin and fit like you all. If I'm going to die, I'll do it in style.

Suddenly, loud viral screams emerged from inside the tall buildings and they started hitting on the windows of the second and third floors. They hit them so much that they finally broke and ended up falling down here. I don't know how they didn't die from the fall, but they're here now and I need to deal with them.

Hannah: - Shit. They must've heard me. I had forgotten that I'm in a city now. I need to be twice as careful with the noise.

Then the virals recovered from the fall and saw me.

Hannah: - I also need to stop talking to myself.

After that, I heard a different noise of meat being chewed coming from some cars close to where the virals fell and I looked to see what it was. I just noticed that there were dead bodies up ahead and some infected crows feeding on them. As soon as they saw me, they made a noise with their mouths and flew towards me.

Hannah: - Great. Infected crows. Just what I needed.

Then I grabbed my katana and got ready to fight. I also had some throwing knives ready. They're great for any infected animal that flies.

I usually use four types of stances to fight different types of enemies with my katana. I call them Survivor Stance, Humanity Stance, Nightmare Stance, and Reaper Stance.

The Survivor Stance is useful for fighting most zombies and infected animals. It is focused on quick lacerations and punctures that are designed to make them bleed with certainty and stun them. This stance is the most basic of all and is perfect for these types of enemies as they're not as agile as humans or volatiles. When I use it, I hold the katana with both hands and the weapon is pointed upwards.

The Humanity Stance is useful for fighting humans as bandits in general. And now I'll probably start using it on Red Corporation soldiers too. It is focused on horizontal and defensive attacks. This stance is perfect for defending yourself using a skill I call "parry" since people are faster than most zombies and also attack you using weapons. When I use it, I hold the katana tilted to the right as if it were lying down.
