Win's POV

8 p.m. I sit alone on the beach, although people are still partying, which might continue till midnight. Maybe dawn.

My mind is elsewhere.

Love comes and sits next to me with two beer cans. She hands one to me.

"You have been a sad puppy the whole evening." she points out.

"I like Bright."

"Mm. I know."

"I want to put all fault on you. Can I? You were the one who brought him to our penthouse." I say.

"Sure. Put the fault on me." she smiles.

We slam our beer cans together and chug them down with a groan of satisfaction.

Then we talk about the beach party. Love tells me about each and every person on the beach. I realise that she knows all her employees really well. I can remember her telling me that having a better connection with each employee is the best way to create a friendly environment in the company.

I notice Bright walking down the beach, shirtless and his skin sparkling under the fairy lights that are on the tree nearby him.

"Damn. You look at him like that... You should marry him." Love says next to me.

"Hah. In my next life, probably."

We watch him a bit, and then Film walks toward him, where they talk a bit.

"Are they friends?" I ask Love.

"Acquaintances. Bright is well-known in the company. Everyone's friendly with him." she says.

We watch them for a while. They talk a lot while laughing, and then Film notices us. So we look away, awkward as ever, as if we weren't just staring at them full of affection.

"Are they still looking at us?" Love asks me. I sneak a glance and see Bright looking in our direction.

"A bit. I don't know. I feel like melting right now." I say, digging my feet in the sand beneath us.

Love spares a glance in that direction before looking at me, "Film didn't say a thing about what I said. Maybe she thinks it was all a matter of time, or she's not... ready for anything. Do you think I should push her into a decision?" she asks.

"What? No, of course not."

"What about Bright?"

"He looks at me all the time, and I feel so shy around him," I say.

"Then let's provoke them."

"What do you mean-"

She leans close and presses her lips on mine. I just keep my eyes open as I am quite used to this plain kiss that we do for other people to witness our 'love'. From the corner of my eyes, I see Bright looking at us with surprise and a little annoyance and jealousy in his eyes. Film looks at us with hurt and confusion.

So I take Love's face in my hands and kiss her a bit more before pulling away.

"What do you see?" Love asks.

"Film left. She didn't look pleased with it." I tell her.

"What should I do?" she asks.

"Never kiss me like that. Gross," I say.

"Pfft. Like I want to kiss you."

"Ugh. Go after her or something. We are both people who have zero experience in these love things. So I don't know. Make it a coincidence and talk with her. If you... want to... you can tell her the truth about our relationship. But if it seems like she doesn't care or I don't know... untrustworthy or something... Don't tell her and retreat." I say with a push on her body.
