Chapter 16: The Kidnapping

After Dojo, everyone swiftly returned to their guilds...

Dracona> "Well, that was an easy victory..."

Kenji> "Why did you bail the last round?"

Dracona> "Let's not talk about it, alright?"

Yellow> "I wonder what the matchups will be..."

Kenji> "Let's hope it's something actually worth watching, or else I might have to leave."

Dracona> "Nuh uh, you aren't taking off this time!"

Kenji> "Oh please you can't stop me even if I tried~"

Kenji said in a flirty tone to make Dracona even angrier.

Dracona> "You're so difficult you know that!"

Yellow> "Alright now, let's not fight!"

Solaris> "Hey, sorry I bailed sorta early..."

Blazera> "No worries, you did your best."

Shōjiki> "It's not like many of us can do any better."

Shashin> "That is true, so don't be so beat up over it, okay?"

Solaris> "Right."

Everyone for a moment directed their attention towards Solaris, and within that split second they would realize something had happened to Shōjiki... The others turned their attention away for a moment, and now noticed...

Mehkit> "Where did Shōjiki go?"

Blazera> "What?? How is this possible... he was just here."

Shashin> "Let's do the signal!"

Shashin did the signal with his guild, pretending to cheer and chant very loudly, that way Quentin and others would be aware of what's going on. Quentin activated his magic, disabling all magic within the arena and then went with his guild to check the arena to find anyone with him. The Aldrich members asked around, but nobody had seen him... This must have been the work of Abbadon.

Shashin> "This is the work of time manipulation... or even the reality manipulator."

Solaris> "This is terrible! How are we going to find him??"

Blazera> "We can't."

Solaris> "Why not though?"

Blazera> "We can't risk us splitting up more."

Mehkit> "You have a point, we already lost one of us..."

Suddenly Quentin contacted Shashin through the use of telepathy. Quentin told Shashin "We can't find Shōjiki around the arena, he must not be here." Shashin had a worried look on his face and requested something from Quentin while he still had the telepathy going. "Inform the investigation team, we need to meet tonight for a change in plans." Quentin replied "Right." The Aldrich guild returned to where they were sitting.

Shashin> "He's nowhere to be found..."

Blazera> "Shit! They got us."

Council> "Our break is now over and it is time to start today's matchups! First matchup is Irina's Winter Forbes vs Doron's Singer, Ongaku !"

Johnathan> "She has my last name...? How odd..."

Ren> "Maybe it's just a coincidence."

Johnathan> "Perhaps... or could this truly be... that I do have siblings..."
