Chapter 42: You Knew, and Did Nothing, So do Something

One week later... 
September 6th, XXXX, at the Abbadon Guild hall in the Dark Forest...
Quentin is sat in a room alone contemplating what the best plan of action would be. Ren looks into the room, concerned for him. 

Ren> "He's been like this for the past week..."

Blazera> "There's not much we can do about it, once Quentin is in this state of mind he cannot be stopped..."

Shashin> "He's probably thinking that, 'the sooner we deal with the problem, the better it is for us.' ...Even though its only been a week and strategies like this in real time take a lot longer."

Mehkit> "You're not helping you know..."

Shashin> "My bad..."

Ren> "Should I say something about it?"

Blazera> "It's probably best to leave him be."

Mehkit> "True but we can't have him being like this all day and all night."

Blazera> "Do you have any ideas for how we can stop him?"

Mehkit> "Why not just let Shashin go in and propose a couple of ideas to him? He's smart enough for Quentin to trust him for this, and maybe in the process he can get him to snap out of it."

Shashin> "Sounds good to me. Let me give it a shot."

Blazera> "Wait-"
Shashin already went in and now they're both yapping about strategies.

Blazera> "Oh no..."

Mehkit> "Don't worry, Shashin knows the objective."

Ren> Well... I'll be counting on him then..."

Blazera> "Alright, I suppose we will see if it works..."

Ren> "I'll stay here, you guys can go now. I'll make sure they both don't get out of hand."

Blazera> "Right, thanks Ren."

Ren> "Anything to help Quentin."

Blazera> "You're a good friend."
Blazera and Mehkit both left. They notice someone following them around and Blazera comes to stop.

Blazera> "Show yourself."

Sephora suddenly peaks around the corner. 
Sephora> "H-hi I'm sorry for eavesdropping!"

Blazera> "Why are you here?"

Mehkit> "Master, please be more kind to her, she probably has her reasons."

Blazera> "Right, sorry..."
Blazera waited for her reply.

Sephora> "Um... I actually came here to ask... since you aren't busy... Mehkit, would you like to hang out?"

Mehkit> "Oh uh, sure."
She was caught off guard, and a bit surprised.

Sephora> "Sorry you're just really cool and I find your powers very interesting, I would like to get to know more about you."

Mehkit> "No, it's fine, I'm just a bit surprised. Let's go talk then, sorry Blazera, you're going to go have to find some other company."

Blazera> "Don't worry about me, have fun you two."

Mehkit> "Thanks."
They both leave together to get to know one another. Blazera walks alone peacefully, as she walks down the corridors of Abbadon, she passes Blake who takes her arm to stop her.

Blake> "Not even going to say 'hello'?"

Blazera> "You seem... to be acting weird? That sentence did not sound like you..."
