Chapter 26: Catsi's Return

Blake saw nobody was around, and realized he hadn't exactly talked to Catsi at all within the past couple of days he stole her. He felt the need to justify himself, but not completely of course, because she didn't want Catsi to find out his true intentions, but he wanted her to know that Matthew really mattered to him still. He decided to visit Catsi in the world he trapped her in for a little bit before going back to combat…

Blake> "I would have visited earlier but I didn't have much of a chance to have some time alone. You probably don't want to speak to me, but I thought I'd try to anyway." 

Catsi> "ARE YOU INSANE?! You know, if we would have FOUGHT FAIRLY… IIII  WOULD HAVE WON! I think I would have CRUSHED YOU ACTUALLY!!"

Blake> "I don't think so, not a lot of people measure up to my skill."

Catsi> "Well EXCUSE ME!! You think this is a game?! You psycho?! You kidnapped me! You should be disqualified from the games! Matthew and I are.. *close* and I bet he's ready to destroy you and I won't hesitate but to laugh in your face when you lose to your little brother."

Blake> "You may think of me as a psychopath, but I am definitely not a torturer, you must be starving, so I bought you all the sweets I could get at this high class bakery I know of. I'm close with the owner since they get the ingredients from us, he is one of our best clients... That being said, bon appetit."

Blake gave her boxes full of sweets filled with really well made cakes, that were all homemade from the bakery and had very expensive organic ingredients that come from his family's farm. He made sure to pick the sweetest ones, just for Catsi. It was almost like he read her mind on her tastes and preferences, but it's pretty easy to read people when you work for a business for the majority of your life.

Catsi> "Okay if I can have this stuff daily. I'm content with staying here. At least I am the Belle to your Beast and not the Rapunzel to your Mother Gothel."

Blake> "That's kind of kinky, don't you think? Well, I suppose plots like this happen often when a woman stands between two brothers."

Blake was only joking around, however Catsi didn't get the hint and blushed out of embarrassment. Catsi genuinely thought he was flirting and was about to freak out. Blake noticed how Catsi got flustered so easily and defused the situation.

Blake> "It was only a joke. I was only kidding anyways, I wouldn't do that to my brother. I might seem like a villain, but even for a villain that is a wicked sin to commit."

Catsi> "Thank god you're slightly less terrible than I thought…"

Blake> "How sweet."
Blake said sarcastically.

Catsi> "Sorry! I didn't mean to offend you."

Blake> "I deserved it to be fair."

Catsi> "Hey can you like, get me an order of Strawberry Shortcake for tomorrow or something?"

Blake> "I'm not your butler, just so you know… I just don't want you on an empty stomach so you're easier to train."

Catsi> "I don't know I'm like- really lazy."

Blake> "Dammit I got the most useless one…"
Blake muttered to himself.

Blake> "Don't worry it won't be much longer."

Catsi> "Much longer till' what, I die or go free?"

Blake smirked and let out a short sinister laugh.
Blake> "You'll see soon enough, goodbye."

And just like that, Blake left her confused and put his focus back to finding another Doron member to fight. He heard a faint humming in the distance of a certain Doron member just strolling around singing to himself and hid in the shadows, following where the humming was coming from. He then saw Ongaku walking around for his next victim, so that he could also sing to sleep. Blake saw this as the perfect opportunity to strike, but he knew Ongaku would be alert, so he would have to be quick about it. He waited, until Ongaku would walk down an alleyway within the shadows, which took around 15 minutes of stalking him. Once he entered the alleyway, he saw shadows with red eyes creeping around him and looked at them directly in the eyes. Ongaku felt himself become paralyzed with fear, not knowing why he was so scared suddenly, after all they were just shadows… right?
