Chapter 2: New Identity

July 1st, XXXX, A month and a half before the games commences. Applications to enter the Games are still open.

Abbadon had heard of the news about the annual games being held soon, since some members would go undercover in the Capital to investigate the ongoing events. It was pretty easy to spot with all the advertising around the capital about it. Posters and flyers were hung everywhere, and it was even written on the newspapers distributed amongst the population. As soon as this was reported to Guild Master Kronos, he had already had an idea of how he could intrude on this event, and liven it up. Kronos was somewhat of a mastermind when it came to schemes like this, he could easily research and find a way to exploit the system. Which is exactly what he did.

Kronos> "So, you say the Annual Games are sending out letters for guilds to compete?"

Blake> "Yes, they do this every single year. I would know since I used to be part of these events in the past."

Darker> "Aren't only legal guilds allowed to compete?"

Kronos> "Only legal guilds can compete in this. However, since we aren't considered an actual guild, nor have an emblem like the legal guilds. We can easily take out one of the weaker guilds and become temporary members of them. We can bear their emblems and simply vanish from their sight after the games. Do you understand my idea?"

Alvina> "You know master, you truly are a genius sometimes~ I never would have thought of that."

David K.> "Um so, we are basically attacking another guild and becoming members for the games only? Isn't that a bit mean?"

Kronos> "Yes, and luckily I know the perfect guild to target. Located south of here, in the flower forest is one of the weakest guilds in the nation. The guild's power can be compared to a miniscule insect, so fragile and easy to crush. It's not mean, it's simply a way for us to show our strength to the council."

Blake> "How will we willingly get their master to make us members and enter us in the guild?"

Kronos> "Simple, I will have Darker simply possess the Master and control his actions."

Alvina> "Kay so, should we go now?"

Kronos> "Yes, before it is too late. Get there hastily, by dusk they will have it ready."

By noon they arrived at guild hall, Rosalia. The closer they got to the guild, the more they hid in the trees and snuck around. They eventually found an entrance through the window in the guild. Now they were inside ready to knock out any member they saw. They searched rapidly until they saw all members gathered in the main hall of the guild. All members watched, until one made the first move.

Darker> "Let's go for them, they are free kills."

Just like that, Darker jumped down and used his explosion magic to blow a huge hole into the centre of their guild. This explosion knocked most members out, and the remaining ones were fought by the rest of Abbadon.

Blake snuck down through the shadows and appeared in front of a member, slashing them with a shadow claw and knocking them out.

Alvina summoned her servant, Verna who bore a spiritual blade, to slash one of the members to knock them out.

The final member was handled by David, where he used his transmutation magic to transmute stone into a spear and smashing the spear on the members head, knocking them out cold.

All that remained was the Guild Master, at that moment Kronos stopped time for her. The Guild Master was frozen in time. Darker was then able to possess her, and Kronos unfroze time. Darker was able to give them all Rosalia emblems, and send the forms with their fake names on it. It was then submitted to the council. Darker went out of her body and they all fled.
