It was early morning, and all of the contestants were waking up and getting ready, Sunwoo was currently sleeping. Since he went to sleep past 2:00 AM, he was exhausted now. But then, the boy received a very unexpected slap... on his butt.
"Wake your lazy ass up Sunwoo!" A voice pierced through the boy's ears, that voice belonging to Yejun, one of his roommates.
"Okay mom!" The boy said while slowly sitting on the edge of the bed, waiting for strength to get up. "Is there anyone using the shower?" He asked.
"Yep, Kai's there for a whole half-hour already!" Jiho said while choosing the clothes he would wear for the day.
"Kai get your ass out of the shower!" Sunwoo screamed, and with that, the shower was automatically turned off.
"Oh wow, if I knew you'd do that I would've woken you up sooner!" Yejun said while giving the boy a little pat in the head.
"Thank god you didn't." He shot a mortal glare.
Right after Kai left the shower, everyone had their turn to have a quick shower before heading to the dining room for breakfast.
Arriving there, they saw how cheap the quality of the food actually was, the food was barely edible, but because of the sheer hunger the boys were in, they practically devoured the whole food that was available to them.
"This food is awful but man I'm hungry!" Woojin said while stuffing his mouth with a whole loaf of bread, it wasn't that big but it was impressive either way.
"Awful is an understatement," Jiho said while staring at the gross-looking rice on his plate.
"Holy shit," Yuri exclaimed while looking at his phone.
"What?"
"It's 6:45, we should be there at 7:00."
Silence hit the room, and then, without any warning, everyone started to basically inhale their food so they could arrive at the training camp in time.
----------------------------------------
All of them were currently seated in their designated seats, waiting for the CEO to arrive at the set. After a short wait, the CEO arrived and took his seat on the desk.
"Today we'll have our last individual evaluations, today I want to see how much you were able to improve with a dance, and singing teacher with you.
Sunwoo remembered his experience with Mr. Park, which wasn't good, of course, but he needed to improve, to do better, no matter what it took. He wanted to impress everyone today.
With that, all of the contestants started to perform, and in no time, it was Sunwoo's turn. The boy stepped to the center of the stage and signaled the staff to start the song. He started to sing, giving his all to the performance, singing a totally different style than what he had shown before, which greatly impressed CEO Kyungsoo.
Following his performance, he received lots of compliments on his versatility in terms of singing style, and how he improved on the things that were pointed out on the last evaluation.
Right after the feedback, he started his dance performance, but this time, compared to his last, he greatly improved considering the short time between the evaluations, his movements being a lot clearer and more precise now.
After the dance performance, he received very positive feedback on his improvement, but also received a lot of tips on how he could improve his dancing on a general level, so he wouldn't be too far behind the others.
Once everything was over, the CEO excused himself and went backstage with the staff to discuss the members' performances. All of them were nervous, they knew what it was about, but they didn't know what the result of it would be.
Suddenly, CEO Kyungsoo came back with some papers in his hands. "Alright, here with me I have the rankings for the individual evaluations."
Everyone looked at each other, nobody was expecting that there was going to be any type of ranking during the show.
Turning to the TV beside him, the CEO announced the rankings from first to last: Minjoon, Yejun, Jihoon, Leo, Jiho, Sujin, Yuri, Taeyang, Woojin, Sunwoo, Haru, and Kai.
Kai, the one being in last place, looked at his feet disappointed in himself. He worked hard for this, it was his dream, and he didn't want to disappoint the people who put faith in him, while Haru had a smile on his face, but it wasn't a smile of relief that he wasn't last, but that he was actually hiding how hurt he felt.
"Now that the rankings have been revealed, I will reveal how your first mission will work." The CEO said while looking at the contestants, then he proceeded to explain how everything would work. It would be a team mission, with every group covering a different song. The groups would be as follows:
Group 1:
Sunwoo, Jihoon, Haru, and Kai.
Group 2:
Yejun, Leo, Jiho, and Sujin.
Group 3:
Minjoon, Yuri, Taeyang, Woojin. Each one of them looked at their respective groups, and with that, their intense practicing week officially started.
