The blonde had been up all night working on her case, she made lots of progress.

Fallon confirmed that Jason's body was placed in the alley after his death, and after getting a few reports from Sergio, it was confirmed that the few people who were in the alley at the time saw nothing suspicious.

"Ofcourse they wouldn't they're always either high or asleep." Fallon mumbled as she read the file for what felt like the millionth time.

Yes, she was doing work but really the only thing getting done was distracting herself from Cleo. Fallon couldn't stop thinking about their earlier interaction and what went wrong. She has no idea what she did.

She sighed and stood up from her desk and went into the kitchen for a midnight snack. Settling on some milk and Oreos, she turned off the kitchen light and made her way back to her room.

Whilst passing Fiona's room in order to get to hers, the older sister paused when she heard sniffling coming from Fi's room.

It wasn't unusual for her younger sister to be up late, but she just had a gut feeling that she should check on her.

Placing the glass of milk between her arm and stomach, she used her free hand to open her little sisters door.

The room fell quiet while Fallon stared into the darkness, the only light coming from the window blinds.

"Fi, I know you're awake. Are you ok?" Fallon asked, walking in and placing her milk and Oreos down on the nightstand next to the door.

Silence.

Fallon turned the lights in the room on causing Fiona to lash out.

"Get out Fallon!" Fiona yelled, her voice making it clear that the teen had just been crying, causing an ache in Fallons chest.

The older sister frowned and walked in, plopping herself down onto the bed next to Fiona, wrapping her arms around her. Fiona tried to fight her sisters grip but soon melted into her once she realized Fallon wouldn't let go.

"You miss dad?" Fallon questioned, to which Fiona nodded her head, a small sob falling out of the girl. She turned around and buried her face into her older sisters neck.

Fallon did her best to hold back her tears, which fell anyway.

"I'm sorry I haven't been able to stay with you lately Fiona. I'm trying to keep us afloat, but I know I haven't been here for you and I'm so sorry." Fallon cried, her voice wavering.

"I know you're doing what you can.. I just don't feel good. I try not to think about him but sometimes I just do and I can't stop it. I miss him so much." Fiona sobbed.

"And even at school today.. all my friends were talking about prom and how excited they are about going shopping for dresses with their moms.." Fiona said tearfully, sniffling before continuing.

"And then I just got sad. Why can't I have that? Why can't we have a normal loving family. All I have is you and you're always working." The younger sister whispered, causing Fallons heart to break into a million pieces.

"It's also why I got so upset over you cutting my time with Cleo's family short. That's the first time in a long time that I'd felt comfort without actually being comforted." Fiona finished, now sitting up to face her sister.

Fallon wiped the tears that had fallen on Fiona's face and smiled holding back the ocean of tears that were painfully building up in her face.

"I know it sucks Fi. Trust me, I know. And I can't make it better, but what I can do is be a better sister and spend more time with you." Fallon gripped her sisters arm tightly as Fiona glanced down.
