"Like a dangerous woman!" Fallon sung horribly, stocking her pantry with fresh groceries she bought on her way home. The woman didn't cease her antics when she heard the front door open.
Turning around and seeing her little sister walk in, back facing her, she decided to up the crazy level of energy she already had. Fallon put the pack of frozen beef she held down onto the counter and skipped up to Fiona.
"Something bout! Something bout! Something b-" Her singing immediately ceased when Fiona turned around had annoyance written all over her face.
The older sister stared at her for a moment with a slowly fading smirk, for some reason Fiona simply looked different. Fallon noticed a glimmer of something unusual in her eyes.
"Whew, school whooped your ass today." Fallon joked, watching as Fiona rolled her eyes and took her backpack off.
The blonde returned to the kitchen, turning off her speaker and continuing to stock the pantry.
"You alright?" She asked, head buried into the pantry trying to decide if she wanted to put the beans on the third or second shelf.
"Ofcourse, I'm just tired." Fiona replied quickly, walking away and into her room without saying another word.
The door was shut promptly.
"Ohh kay." Fallon said to herself, starting to ponder over Fiona's weird behavior but was quickly distracted by a buzz from her phone on the counter.
She walked over and felt her heart warm as she read the notification.
Cleo Asswood😡 *1 notification 3:55pm
She giggled and made a mental note to herself that she needed to change that contact name, Cleo had redeemed herself. Fallon opened the message and felt all the blood rush to her face.
Thinking about you Amore 💋, what're you up to?
Fallon couldn't help but run over to her couch, throwing herself into it and squealing into a pillow. She knew she was acting like a teenager, but at the moment the woman didn't care in the slightest.
They'd got off of work 2 hours ago and Cleo couldn't help but think about her. Amber eyes lingered onto her phone for a moment before shutting it off and letting out a sigh.
Cleo sat on her couch, looking around at her big empty house. The woman used to adore this house and part of her still does.
She stood up and placed her hand on the white paint on the side of the wall, rubbing her hand along it as she walked. She smiled, noticed Sunny's toy resting on the floor.
Looking around, taking note that her plants looked as somber as she felt at the moment. The kitchen table neatly settled in, as it hadn't been used in months.
She was beginning to fall into a depressive mood but was distracted from doing so when she heard her doorbell ring. The woman wasn't expecting any company and she knew Fallon wouldn't come over unannounced.
Paranoia filled her head as she stood frozen, peeking around the corner at the window neighboring her front door.
'Just answer the door Cleo', nothings wrong, her brain echoded, padded footsteps softly approaching. She was wearing Madeline's old fluffy unicorn socks and an oversized tee with shorts.
Cleo was now standing in front of the window, dread and nausea swirling viciously in her throat as she peeked out.
All fear swindled when her eyes landed on Clyde and Cassandra standing outside the door, a basket resting in her mothers hand.
