Ryker's P.O.V
"This is not over Ryker!!!!!" Marcus howled. I looked back to see them running after us in wolf form.
"Shift..." I whispered to Miah.
She shifted in mid-stride, the beautiful horse galloping next to me was my mate.... I could not believe it! I shifted into my wolf and lengthened my strides. I heard stumbling behind us, and then a sharp yelp. I looked back seeing only Marcus running after us, Louis was on the ground about two yards behind Marcus. He was holding his ankle and whining. I started to run faster, when I noticed that Miah was saying something, "cave....there's a cave, twenty yards!!!" She said without looking at me. She took the lead, and veered right.
"Ryker!!! Your father is gonna kill you!!!!! And you, you will never become alpha!!!" Marcus growled. He honestly thought that a little comment about alpha would bring me back!! We veered right again, but this time Marcus tried to turn and was slammed into a tree. The yelp was ear-piercing, Miah had her ears pinned back, and we ran into the cave...
