Enemies?

Miah's P.O.V
We were walking silently through the dark cave, after we had both shifted back to humans. I heard something, it sounded like it wanted to kill...
I latched my fingers in his, he just looked at me with worried eyes.
Then I felt something brush past me, and I jumped, Ryker looked at me and shifted.
"Sooo..." a distant female voice said, "we have company boys." We heard the howls of wolves, so many of them, pups, females and too many males. There was no way we would win this fight.
Again I felt the fur rub across my arm, then I felt Ryker jump next to me. As I looked around I saw about 54 pairs of eyes on me and Ryker. And I'm sure there were many more behind me, and hiding somewhere else.
I felt the claws rub lightly across my legs, and then they scratched hard.
"Ouch!" I screeched. Then I felt the teeth sink into my arm and squeeze down on it.
"Stop!!!!" Ryker growled. He ran up to one of the wolves, grayish brown with bright green eyes. "this is my mate and I will fight to the death to protect her!!!" I stared at him in awe, then I shifted. Many of the wolves gasped, they were expecting a wolf.
"Oh, well would you look at that," the biggest one laughed, the female voice from earlier, she must be the alpha. "the young pup brought us dinner too!"
"Excuse me, but I think that you are a little selfish!!" I grumbled at her, then realizing how stupid I sounded.
"Oh, my dinner is feisty!!" She howled.
I bucked and kicked, knocking out three wolves including the alpha.
"I'm not letting you fight alone!!! Now fight!!!" I whinnied at Ryker. All I saw was the top of his tail, and then I heard yelps from each direction. I turned to face the alpha, she glared at me, her stare burning into me like a branding.
I reared kicking my feet out, and coming down as hard as I could.
I landed, and heard snapping and yelping.... I just killed the alpha....

A/N
Ok this ones a little longer and I really don't have an updating schedule so sorry!! I am gonna try and update when I can!!! Thanks again for reading this!!! I have the next chapter done, but I want suspense! Hopefully this gives you guys some!
