Chapter 39 Now That I Understand

I turned to syfy on the Tv and watched smackdown. Around the end Renee had a small interview with Jon,I saw the way she looked at him and it annoyed me so much. I was biting my nails waiting for it to be over,when smackdown was over, I accidentally fell asleep on the couch

I was woken by the door opening then closing.

"Didn't mean to wake you" he said setting his things down.

"What..what are you talking about?" I yawned "I was never asleep"

"Mhm, sure you were" he chuckled

"What?" I asked, not knowing what he said

"Never mind.." he paused taking his shoes off "I'm gonna take a shower"

I nodded and walked to the bedroom to fall back asleep.

I woke up to hearing a voice,I felt around me and noticed Jon was gone. I sat up and heard him talking to someone. I stood up and walked up to Jon laying on his back..he was on the phone

When he got off the phone he turned to face me and walked into the bedroom

"Sorry,I didn't mean to wake you" he said

"Its fine,was that your boss?" I asked

"Actually,it was Cody" he smiled while standing on the bed.

"Rhodes?" I asked standing up also

"Why do you always think it's him?" He chuckled "hawk,he said you can go see him in two days"

"Aww thanks Jon" I said.

"No problem,he just gonna teach you some moves and other stuff,and what to expect" he said

"Does it hurt?" I asked him

"You tell me" he said,I gave him a confused look

He locked his arms with mine and basically tripped me. I realized he just put me on the dirty deeds. It didn't hurt but it felt weird

"Jonathan" I whinned

"What? You couldn't handle it?" He asked laying down next to me I rolled my eyes and closed them

"Wanna go get some breakfast?" He asked

"Sure" I said. We got dressed and left to a breakfast place and ordered

"Hey,Joe sent me a text and I keep telling him to call me cause it take me at least three minutes to send on message" he said looking at me a bit embarrassed "can you do it?"

"Sure" I said,he handed me his phone "what do you want me to say?" I asked

"Uh say OK,what time?" He said,I typed it in and sent it. I handed back his phone and tried not to laugh

"Sarah,what are you laughing at?" He asked

"I don't know,just that You can't work your on phone" I said taking a sip of my drink

"Rude much?" he scoffed causing me to chuckle

"What?" He said

"Oh nothing" I smiled as our food came. We ate then left back to the hotel room.

I sat down next to Jon until the door knocked,I stood up to get it..Colby

"You alone?" He asked

"No" I answered ,he grabbed my arm and pulled me outside the room

"Sarah, can we talk?" He asked still holding my arm,I was a little worried about it,he was holding the one with the stitches

"I don't know Colby. You lied to me and not only that,you lied to me about Renee" I said "So no thanks"

"Please,that was a mistake" he said

"Yeah,twice, Colby if your asking for forgiveness the answer is no" I said,he squeezed my arm and I could see the anger in his eyes

"Colby!" I said trying to get out of his grip. He didn't budge,he just got tighter. I couldn't tell if the stitches we're digging deeper in my skin or coming out,but it hurt so bad

"Get off of me!" I said starting to cry. I started to see a trickle of blood fall down my arm. I looked up and Colby in shock with tears still streaming down

"Sarah,who's at the door?" I heard someone ask,Colby then stopped and pushed me down and walked back in his room

"Hey,what happened?" He asked looking down at me on the floor. He helped me up and walked to the couch,but I got up and ran to the bathroom holding my arm

"Sarah" he said following me

"Sarah" he said trying to get my attention,I continued trying to clean up my arm

"Sarah,look at me" he demanded. I turned my head and did as so. He walked closer and looked at my arm and back up at me

"Who did this?" He asked getting angry.. I stayed silent and looked down trying to understand that Colby did this..I can't believe him,Renee did this,she changed him. I'm starting to see this game she's trying to win at,but she won't win,now that I understand
