Chapter 42 Family Reunion

"Did I do something wrong?" Jon asked. I ignored him,and boy did I hate it. He walked to me and kneeled in front of me

"Baby please don't be like this" he said,I didn't say a word and tried my hardest to not look at him

"Fine,I'all get out of your face..just,let me know your OK" he said. I still continued not saying anything

He sighed while standing up and rubbing my leg. He walked out to the small living room the hotel room had.

I pulled my sleeves down and took a look at them. I cursed under my breath and stood up following Jon. He was sitting down flipping through the channels...obviously looking upset and mad

I moved my hands from behind me and held them up. He stood up and came to look at them

"Please tell me I didn't do this" he said closing his eyes

"OK then I won't" I said looking down

"Is there anything else I did?" He asked

"Jon are you sure?" I asked,he nodded

"You slapped me,said I talk to much and something else,then you said I'm definetly on your 'slut list' " I said looking at him the whole time,I felt bad for him,He can't control himself during times like those. "Now..isn't that nice?"

I rolled my eyes and continued surfing the horrible hotel channels.

"I'm sorry baby,I love you and I will never do that again..I promise this time,no more over drinking" he said hugging me tightly.

I let go and checked the time. 5:43

"And next time,please don't hide it" he said,I nodded. Did I believe him? No..of course I didn't. He was so cheesy, and plus, if I didn't forgive him, he would make me.

"I wonder what Colby's doing with your necklace" Jon said

"Me to" I said

A couple of minutes went by and we we're ready to see what Joe had in mind.

"Joe, we've been driving for at least an hour, where are we going?" I asked him,he looked at me in the rear view mirror

"You're gonna have to wait baby girl" He said. I sighed loud enough so he could hear causing him to roll his eyes.

After another 2 hours minutes of driving we finally arrived to this packed like crazy beach..it was beautiful but I had to figure out the catch to this. We all got out of the car and strated walking twards the beach

"Hey umm you could have told us we were coming here..Im wearing pants" I said

"Yeah Joe what is this?" Jon asked

"You'll see" He smiled

We walked to see what looked like this huge barbecue which looked reserved

"This is my family reunion..fun right?" He asked looking around. I opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by Jon

"Dammit Joe,every year you do this to me..It's not fun..especially after three years of coming" He said

"Well there might be a change this year" Joe said walking away with Jon following. I stood there thinking..why am I here? I'm nowhere near Samoan but would love to be..who doesn't

"Hey Sarah!" Jon yelled grabbing my attention. I sped walked over to them,Joe led us to the top of the rocks where people were jumping off

"Joe can we get down?" I asked looking down and to the water..which i compared to the mouth of the world and once your in..you cant get out. I don't know why but I have a grudge on water..well oceans and lakes in particular

"Why?" He asked

"Me and water don't mix especially when i can plunge at it from a sky scraper" I smiled

"Come on this is half the high of that" Joe chuckled..I honestly don't see anything funny about that

"That just fixes everything" I sarcastically said

"Let's have some fun" Joe said walking to the edge of the rock

"Goodbye Joe" I said

"What do you mean 'Goodbye' I'll be back" He said. I looked down

"Sure you are" I said

"You wanna go first?" Jon asked me

"No way..I'm not going at all" I paused "And plus I have clothes on"

"We all do baby girl" Joe said running and jumping in the water I closed my eyes but opened one to see what was going on

"Your turn" Jon said pulling me back

"Damn Jon,do you know how long it took him to actually get in the water?" I said

"The same time it's gonna take you" He said

"No" I said walking down carefully

"What a coincidence it's opposite day" Jon said pulling me back

"Fine" I said,I took my shoes off and ran to the front of the rock but stopped right a the bridge

"No I can't do t-" I all of a sudden felt like i was flying and this huge blue thing was getting closer to me until I was actually in it

"Finally" Joe said as I got my head out of the water

"Whatever,to be honest I don't even know how I got in here so jokes on you" I said swimming back to the shore and start air drying. I sat down on a little rock and waited

After about a hour or so Joe and Jon came back with a couple of buckets. I lifted my head from my hands and gave them a confused look

"What?" I asked as they grinned

Joe all of a sudden threw whatever was in that bucket on me and it turned out to be water which I wasn't upset about because I can dry until Jon threw a bucket of sand on me which caused it to stick everywhere

"You guys...you guys suck" I said picking up one of the buckets and walking to the water to dump some on me

We finally left back to the hotel which took another two hours and a half..not happy about it but I have to admit the day was fun. I took a shower and plopped on the bed ready to sleep.

"Someone's tired" Jon said walked up to me

"You have no idea" I said sitting up and actually getting under the blanket and calling it a night basically.

Jon did the same

"Sorry about the necklace Jon" I said He placed his hand on my leg

"Its not your fault,OK?" He said,I nodded and closed my eyes to go to sleep
