The Group sat near the Tense as they waited for Qrow and Ren to get patched up enough to be sent back in to combat, The Doctors said the damage wasn't bad so they could be up and running again soon.
Which was good as they were soon to be going over the top to retake Ankurin.
Suddenly a broadcast rang out.
"DEPARTING TO ANKUIN IN 30 MINUTES."
"Crap...how has 30 minutes already passed." Jaune exclaimed "How has time flying so fast while we were just standing here."
"Im Not sure but lets go see how their doing." Yang said
The Group nodded before they began walking to the tent looking at the Soldiers as they walked by.
Some were scrubbing their weapons others were having one last good luck drink before heading out towards the city.
One Soldier simply had his hands over his head While A Beowolf stared into the Sky as if waiting for a sentinel to come down and kill him.
Concerned the group decided to ask the Beowolf.
"Errr excuse me mr....Beowolf." Weiss said causing him to look at them
"How can i help ya." The Beowolf said
"Errr is....is he okay." Weiss said pointing to the man
The Beowolf looked at him before saying "Nah....poor bastard starting lose hope...hes seen some shit on the front."
"But...doesn't he want to help liberate the planet?" Blake asked
The Beowolf was going to respond when the man spoke up "What's the fucking point......were already loosing horribly...the machine can just replace their losses, Its Over okay OVER!!!" He yelled at the end
The Group were taken aback by the man yelling as the man simply but his hands back on his face.
"Im sorry." He whimpered
The Beowolf patted him on the back as he spoke to the group "I think you lot should get going, don't worry...he will be fine." He said
The Group were concerned but continued onward.
"My Gods." Blake said "I dont think I've seen a man so broken before."
"Yeah, he just looked so defeated." Weiss said "I wonder what he could have seen in the frontlines to break him so much."
"Im not sure but it must of been horrible." Ruby said
"Damn it." Yang growled "Why is everything about this world so awful, i mean like really it seems like everything we've heard so far has been nothing but depression, first fighting a for with endless amounts of troops it can deploy, Then we find out about all the horrifying things the machines have done, then we find out the world looks like a post apocalypse nightmare and that's when you can even see the place and that's not even considering the horrors of actually fighting the scrapheads them selves." She ranted
Then as she took a breath she looked around to see the others staring at her.
"Sorry guys." Yang said "Just it seems like the universe is throwing punch after punch right now."
"Its alright Yang." 2 Blake said "Were a team we will get through this, we always do."
Yang smiled before Nora spoke up "GUYS..ITS THE MED BAY!!"
They quickly turned to see the Med bey hearing the sounds of agony from inside.
Quickly fearing the worse they ran inside before seeing a horrific sight.
