"Hello this is Generel Lie Ren dose any one copy". Li spoke trying to get a respond
He listened in only to receive static on the other side.
Again he called "Calling all forces in Ankurin, This Generel Li Ren...do you copy."
He waited to to hear a response from someone any one from the front lines but yet could only hear static.
"DO YOU COPY!!" he Shouted
"Sir." He heard Alice call out to him causing to look at her
"We getting no response from any units inside the city....its like theirs a total black out in their." She exclaimed
"Fucking machines Must be using a jamming device." Li said "What was the last response."
Alice typed up on the computer only "Only this sir" She said before explain "We've entered the city...encountered no resistance...where are they...did the robot leave.....one of the Soldiers are screaming...Ambush..what are they...and it ends their." She finished
"Fuck!! Li said "I should have seen this coming from a mile away."
"What is it general??" Alice asked
"It was a death trap....of course the machines lured us into a trap and jammed the communications in order to land a killing blow....fuck." He mumbled pinching his nose
"What do we do now Sir??" Alice asked
Li looked up before saying "Im not sure....im going to have to speak to Ruby....god she's going to kill me."
Li stood up and walked out but not before saying "If you get anything...tell me immediately..i need to know what's going on."
"Yes Sir." She said
Li then walked out and towards his command centre.
And when he reached the communication devices he gave a sigh before speaking through "This Generel Li Ren speaking to Ruby Rose over...do you copy."
Thier was a moment of silence and static before a voice came through "Li Ren...i hope your coming to give me some good news."
Li sighed "Unfortunately no."
And just like that He heard the Voice of Rose darken as she said "What??"
"We had launched our assault agaisnt the forces of 0_2 however they appeared to have seen us coming and have lured my forces into a trap....they jammed our devices and have turned the city into a slaughter house." Li said
"They Jammed the device....." Rose said "Are you telling me that not only have we lost a large part of our army in that city...but that we dont even have a way to contact them..Meaning we dont even know if they are still alive."
"No...no we do not." Lie explained
"Thier was silence for a moment until suddenly shouts and cries of rage from the other end as Rose ranted.
"GOD DAMN IT LI....YOU LOST SO MANY OF OUR MEN IN THIS BLOODY ASSUALT DO YOU UNDERSTAND...YOU MAY HAVE LOST US THE FUCKING WAR!!!" Rose ranted
"YOU ORDERED ME TO RETAKE THE CITY AND THATS WHAT I TRIED TO DO!!" Li argued "I did everything i could!!"
"SHUT UP!!" Rose said "Your lucky i dont put you Infront of a fucking Firing squad Li Ren....now fix this situation or so help me gods you will be meeting a bullet real soon."
Li was taken aback by this threat....he was used to her insults yes but actively threating one of her friends....it was another to even make him go wide eyed.
