***The Flashback***

"Please! Introduce me to him!" Johan pleaded, surprising us with his bold request to meet the Chairman. I hadn't anticipated he'd go to such lengths for this. "The one you work for! He can move her up to the waiting list, right?!"

I casually continued reading mangas, seemingly unfazed, while Gun fixated on the swimming pool, contemplating the unexpected turn of events. Johan's audacity added a new layer to the otherwise mundane setting.

"He's more capable to do so. But why would he?" Gun inquired of Johan without shifting his gaze, his back turned as he stretched on the pool's diving platform. "It's not like you offered him millions of dollars like we do."

"Money is power. Power is money," Gun elaborated, his arms stretching out. "Become my successor and take my spot. Then, eventually, you'll reach him." Gun's pragmatic advice hinted at a hierarchy where ambition and succession were intertwined with financial influence, adding complexity to their motivations.

"To become my Successor you need to atleast be able to unite the 4 major crews" He told him and I chuckled.

"To be my successor, you'll have to unite the four major crews," Gun stated to Johan, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the complexity of the challenge.

"Don't mind that nonsense! Hey, I'll make you my successor if you just pay the price!" I grinned at Johan, diverting his attention. "Let's say, a cool ten million as a deposit!"

"My first successor shouldn't end up getting beaten by the very four crews I established," Gun continued, now looking directly at Johan, who maintained his kneeling position. "Prove your worth by uniting them."

"Unite the four crews and show you're worthy," Gun instructed before gracefully diving into the pool and swimming away. The waters seemed calm, but beneath the surface, a complex power play was at hand.

"That bastard," I muttered under my breath. "Well, it'll be based on what Johan chooses, however he wants it. Not my fault if one day he gets thrown out."

I glanced at Johan, contemplating the choices laid out before him.

"He really does look like a dog, hehe," I thought to myself, smirking as I continued to immerse myself in my mangas.
