"It's decided then," I affirmed silently as the call ended. Setting down my drink, I grabbed my car keys and coat, determined to accompany Crystal to her destination. The night air was thick with tension as I guided her towards the car.
Raindrops began to fall as we arrived at a convenience store. Crystal disappeared inside, and a decision crystallized in my mind. Leaving her in the store, I quietly stepped out with an umbrella, blending into the rhythm of the rainy night. Sometimes, the path to resolution required more than just a direct approach.
It was raining. I'm still wondering on how will I dismiss that talented kid. He's too talented. It'll be such a waste. My thoughts starts to think deeply as the raindrops lingered while the time ticks in my watch when I heard such fight.
I saw 2 guys, having a dog fight under this rain. I saw tabasco in the ground coughing blood and the other one. The Guy I'm finding.
"You're pretty tough. You should be an athlete. It's a waste of your body," someone I knew advised Tabasco. The situation, strangely amusing, unfolded with two familiar faces locked in combat under the falling drops – a rare sight indeed.
"Hahaha. What a funny sight," I chuckled, unable to contain my laughter. Catching their attention, Jake looked back at me, his expression a mix of surprise and shock.
"How have you been?" I asked, prompting a puzzled "Huh?" from Jake. His eyes blinked with disbelief. "It's you," he finally uttered.
