"Complicated"
I thought everything is perfect
But it was all an imperfect lie that I wanted to protect
I thought loving you will be the best thing
But right now we're both hurting
It's now complicated, complicated
A little mistake makes everything a mess
The love we had turns into hatred
No more love in the eyes but rather doubtful gazes
It's all my ideal of a perfect life
You by my side together with our child
But now it doesn't feels right
You and me always fight
It's a sad news to me
As you seems to doesn't care with me
I love you but it gets tiring
Unending debate and coaxing
Doesn't clean up this mess
I know it's you and me
The problem lies with the both of us
Both our pride stands tall than our love
Physical quarrel and emotional pain
Severe our relationship rather than solving it
I get tired and you also feels the same
We both can't stand each other's stubbornness
But we doesn't seems to care
You wanted to let go but I don't want to let you go
I want to hold on with our promise before
To be each other's loving companion
To be the best parents for our child
To be the best version of ourselves
But what we have now
We doesn't seem to click
The sparks started to get dim
We both feel exhausted
Everything is complicated, a total mess
I wish it was all a dream
So I can wake up and change everything
Maybe we can grow up more maturely
Have a longer patience and understanding
So that, things won't be complicated
