Chapter 7

Lily shudders before soon coming over to Damien as he slips his slimy hands around her waist. Damien asks, "Hunter here thinks I'm too hard on my girls, do you think I am hard on you?". Lily replies, "n-no, Master". Damien says, "see? She's happy!". Hunter says, "you've made your point, Damien". Damien chuckles before pulling Lily to his lap as Emerald's whole body goes cold. Damien says, "you must be starving, my dear.. you have been working so hard, here". Damien cuts a piece of steak from his plate and holds his fork up to Lily's mouth. Emerald says, "Lily... you're a vegetarian". Damien rolls his eyes saying, "there is no such thing under my roof". Hunter says, "Damien...". Annabelle says, "what's wrong, Hunter? do you want the poor thing to starve?". Annabelle and Damien laugh as Damien holds his fork to Lily's lip. He says, "please...eat". Emerald sees Lily shaking as she has no choice but to watch her friend take the fork with the steak on it. Damien whispers, 'this is what you get for eating before your master is finished with his meal...' Damien opens his mouth wide with his fangs appearing and sinks them into Lily's shoulder; Lily screams, "AAAH!!". 

Emerald says, "Lily!". Lily screams as Damien's venom courses through her body as she feels immense pain; Hunter gets up saying, "enough, Damien!". Damien says, "you deal with your slave, and I will deal with mine". Damien's bites harder as Lily cries out trying to get away but he tightens his grip on her. Lily cries out, "s-stop! P-please! It burns!". Emerald clenches his fist in anger as she grabs the largest fork she can find and rams it deep into Damien's hand. Damien snarls angrily saying, "AH! DAMN IT!". He howls as he jumps from the chair and Lily falls to floor holding her wound. Emerald comes over to Lily as Damien says, "you bitch!". Damien grabs Emerald by her throat gripping it so hard that she struggles to breathe. Emerald thinks, 'oh god... is this the end of me?'. Hunter angrily says, "let go of her, right now Damien!". Damien squeezes Emerald harder while he turns to Hunter angrily saying, "but she-". Hunter screams, "NOW!". Damien grits his teeth before throwing Emerald across the room as she hits the wall, coughing and gasping for air. Damien says, "look at my hand, Hunter! Do you think this is acceptable?!". 

Hunter replies, "Of course I don't but I will see to it that she is punished!". Damien wasn't pleased saying, "Is that all you have to say to me?!". A few moments later Damien laughs coldly saying, "we were just having fun, right?". Hunter rolls his eyes sarcastically replying, "fun...". Hunter leans back in his chair still seething with anger as Damien says while looking at everyone saying, "we are having a great time! And why should the fun end here?". He plays a song and begins dancing whilst everyone watches him before he heads over to a wall and reaches for a bell mantel. Hunter says, "Damien, don't-!". Damien ignores Hunter's word and rings the bell. Emerald gets up wondering, 'what did Hunter sound so worried! What does the bell mean?!". Hunter says, "Emerald-!". 

Dozens of guards descend on the dining room as they grab her, Lily, and other slaves before forcing them to face the door. Damien asks, "want to play a game with me, Emerald? It's called.... a hunt". Hunter calls out to Emerald ass she is confused wondering, 'what's happening?.' Hunter says to Damien, "I didn't approve this hunt, Damien." Damien says with a smirk, "oh, I am deeply sorry your Majesty, I must have been distracted by the fork your slave stabbed in my hand but as you are fully aware once the bell has been rung it can't be stopped." Hunter says to Emerald, "just stay alive, I will find you." Emerald asks, "s-stay alive? w-what do you mean by that?." 

Before Hunter has a chance to explain the guards take Emerald out of the room as she is shoved into a room where there are several slaves. Lily says, "Emerald? What's going on?." Emerald sees her best friend is very weak and shaking from Damien's attack on her. Emerald answers, "I am not sure, but everything will be ok, we will get through this together." Lily was doubtful saying, "h-how?. Emerald hugs Lily replying, "by being strong and sneaky, we have to believe in ourselves no matter what happens." Lily wipes a tear from eye asking, "really Emerald, do you really think that will work?." 

Emerald nods and gives hope to Lily just as a guard suddenly pulls Emerald away from her best friend. Lily screams, "EMERALD!." Emerald struggles to free herself as a guard throws her in another room as she sees a familiar figure inside looking at her. Emerald gets up as Annabelle says, "you really do have a bad streak, little slave! It was not bright of you to piss of Damien, I doubt you will survive the night." Emerald asks, "what do you mean by that? what is this hunt?!." Annabelle smiles evilly answering, "it's a game we like to play with the new slaves, you are all rounded up, dressed in our favourite colour silver and set free." Emerald wasn't convince asking, "what's the catch to all this?!." Annabelle replies, "the catch? You are, of course we will be hunting you!."
