@fan99: she really was, she barely smiled, only when noah would catch her attention
Mia was getting ready for the show. She was humming and fixing her make up. She didn't really where that much, it didn't last anyway but a little blush wouldn't hurt.
She was in front of the mirror when she noticed her sister standing behind her. She turned and leaned on the vanity, "Yes Mich? What can I do for you?" she asked.
Mich sighed and walked to her, she leaned on the vanity next to her. She sent her a look. Mia huffed and crossed her arms, "I know that look."
"Really? Then what does this look mean?" she asked as she raised an eyebrow at her. "I know the look when you want me to talk to Lando." Mia said stubbornly.
"And did you?"
The singer hummed and looked away from her, "I did." Mich looked at her expectantly, "And what did he say?"
Mia frowned as she remembered the test messages they exchanged.

"He says that I don't need him anymore." She started and glanced at her sister. Mich was listening and Mia knew that. "He says Noah is here for me. And that he makes me happy. And that I don't need him right now."
Mich sighed, "Your stubborn best friend." She said trying to ease the tension. But Mia didn't laugh nor smile. The older Vettel placed a hand on top of hers.
The singer frowned and intertwined their fingers, "I miss my best friend. I miss Lando." She admitted as she stared at their hands. "I miss how we were. I miss when I didn't decide to part ways."
"It's okay to miss him, but he will be there in the end. He always is." Mich said trying to reassure her sister. But Mia looked back at her and shook her head, "I don't even know if he'll still be after this."
Mich looked at her confused, "What do you mean?" she asked. Mia let out a bitter chuckle, "Kate. You should have seen his face when Angel asked about her. It's like all the sadness after talking about the race and me, it's like she's the greatest thing in his life."
"Don't say that-"
"I didn't lie though. I guess he's right, Kate is there for him and Noah is there for me. I guess we don't need each other huh?"
