Podium: As the McLaren team crowded with the Ferrari and Mercedes teams. They cheered with the crowd, staring up at the podium, waiting for the drivers who won the last race appear on the podium.
As Mia looked up, a bright smile on her face. And when he was called, her smile just got bigger. Lando Norris appeared and stood to his place. He scanned the crowd, his familiar tight lipped grin appearing on his lips.
But then it grew bigger as he finally caught sight of her. Amelia Vettel staring up at him with a huge smile. Even if he was focused on her, he did not forget to greet Charles who passed him to stand on the P2 podium and George who had won the championship for the 2023 season.
And as the British anthem played, he kept his look on her. Staring towards her with a smile. And as the trophy was finally handed to him, he bit his lip and pushed it up in the air.
But one thing he hadn't done in a long time, he raised his other hand and pointed towards Mia. The camera catching this act and then cut to the girl who scrunched her nose at him. Lando, on the podium did the same face.
She giggled and tilted her head to the side, the adorable smile that made Lando's eyes brighten. If the team would describe it, they would say his irises turned into hearts. Something they haven't seen in a long time.
And like always the champagne is handed to the winners. George and Charles spraying each other with huge smiles on their faces. Mia cheered as Lando did his pop.
The champagne spraying on the screen and attacked his friends who did the same to him. The Ferrari and Mercedes drivers teaming up against the young McLaren driver.
Lando laughed as he took in the sprays. Once they calmed down, he looked back to the crowd, eyes meeting Mia again. This time, a serious look on his face.
