Although Lisa had spent quite a bit of time with Sky, she hadn't completely gotten Tina out of her mind. Whenever she bumped into Tina, she would say hi, regardless of whether she heard or not. But more importantly, Lisa's heart fluttered whenever she saw Tina. It was the same feeling when she had a crush on a guy from her old school. But Lisa didn't have time to be thinking of the Arts or Tina or fiction. For exams had started popping up and Lisa found herself in the library cramming books or finishing assignments with Sky.

It wasn't only the exams that were pressuring the students to do well, basketball trials had been plastered on the walls. Lisa did not want to join, remembering her time in primary school, but Sky had forced to try out with her.

"It will be fun to play basketball", Sky said, much to Lisa's annoyance. Lisa's parents had obviously told her to try out and she had abruptly replied no. But Lisa did look forward to was the auditions for the musical. Lisa loved the arts and dance was included. She was self-taught and at the age of ten finally convinced her parents to let her do hip-hop classes. The whole reason her parents let her was because she said it would give her a cultural understanding.

"Come on Sky", Lisa asked Sky after school on Friday before the auditions for the musical, Romeo and Juliet. "You forced me to try out for basketball and I sucked, now you owe me one".

"But Lis, you know I suck at dance, I have two left feet", she replied while laughing.

"Doesn't matter, you're coming with me!" And so, Lisa ended up dragging Sky to the musical auditions after basketball tryouts.

"Um... Hi Ms. Evans! We're here for the auditions," Lisa asked a short lady with short brown hair.

To her utter surprise, the lady had a huge smile on her face, as she greeted Lisa and Sky.

"Welcome to the musical auditions! I wish you the best of luck in auditioning and hope you get in. You look like you've acted before, so I think you've got it!" Then she turned to everyone else. "Right, line up on the stage everyone, so we can start getting through the auditions. I hope you have thought about which character you want to audition for!" Ms. Evans called.

"Oh no.... I haven't thought about the character. I was too busy with basketball", Sky whispered to Lisa.

"Relax, just line up behind me and do the same lines I'm doing", Lisa replied.  Lisa had been practicing her lines often enough and knew she wanted to audition as Benvolio, one of the characters from the renowned play.

Sure enough, when she asked the teacher is she could audition for a male character, she was more than willing to accept.

At last, after the auditions, the two girls walked down to their favorite ice cream place and sat down while they ate their ice creams.

"Ugh, I sucked! I'm much better at basketball!" Sky started.

"Well, I sucked in basketball, but I think I did ok in the audition. I don't think I got the part, but at this point I would be happy with a chorus role." She replied. Suddenly, a figure came to the ice cream shop. Lisa knew the all-to-familiar glasses and black hair. She grabbed Sky and ran for it.

"Let's go home, shall we? It's almost six", Lisa asked Sky. Although Sky agreed, Lisa didn't miss the confused look on her face. Oh well, she'd find out eventually.
